The fact that our tackling by a lot of guys...well sucks..and had for multiple seasons..and we have a HC who is not some all time tackling guy...is he not? And has a roster of inadequate tacklers is kinda odd in that he can't pass on that knowledge and skill...maybe even recognize true tackling machines in player assessments.. and more importantly...obviously can't coach up players and teach

Exactly..he is a guy to augment the group with experience and big play ability..and give us some size and another option...not be a focal point of offence Corcoran should never see roster

And pretty good indicator that a lot of the success was in spite of most of his shortcomings Now he isnt laden with younger talent in its prime..and has to avtually coach up..scheme and produce the best lineup based on talent..he cant

Coaching cost us all 3 losses.. Was he ever really a good coach..per say..I have my doubts...leader..maybe ..and its easy when u are loaded with studs who dont need to be coached for most part He even himself said he doesn't really know the x and o part of things and should sharpen up on that...so how is he to see an issue let alone fix it?? He can't...plus he is stubborn...and has his bias' many of which are not for the actual betterment of the team Too much credit to him..a lot was internal team culture cultivated by vets..he allowed it to flourish and rightfully so...he even said he downt go in the room and allows his vets to run the show...and also said he didnt really have a handle on the vibe in locker room in one interview...sure he had a lot of a part in in...but it wasn't some new concept that he invented and was the main reason... But times change...message change...concepts and how teams prepare..and play has changed...he hasn't...doesn't look like he can...probably never would anyway

We were basically self coached and policed...by in prime studs...coaching even in the glory 2 yrs was minimal...and now that they have to...and had to before the cups.. well we see the results.. no clue..no answers....basically no hope

Lewis old contract is irrelevant..wr could pick him up with a friendly deal for both sides He also shouldn't be judged for whats gone on in Ottawa...and the dude isnt cooked...just in a bad place Would he upgrade us...most definitely...would he open up space for our top guys..again..definitely And I sure he would come in with a point to prove too...to not pick him up if for anythung just to see...is proof positive we going nowhere with this coaching and management crew.. as they see no desire to get better and think things are good...and considering this is a bye week...its the perfect scenario as he could be inserted 1st game back

Nope...only one with maybe the mulligan is Walters...he did well originally..then allowed osh too much say and pull...and here we are Lesson learned He now needs to show the commitment to bringing in new blood now..emphasizing to his HC to give these new guys ample opportunity to show their wares..and if the season flames out as it has been..Osh hasn't changed a player let alone how we prepare and function in a game week..then if he won't can him in season he should be at seasons end..and allows the playoff season and grey cup week to be known we looking for a new HC...he did his part trying to fix...HC didn't..easy decision That being said if he also just sits on his lil giney and echos the nonesense No Balls does..then off both they go in november U can turn it around in 1 yr up in Canada

If we want any realistic contender chance next yr...a lot needs to be addressed this yr..starting during the bye And if that means switching the ratio..givin Smith full reign on defence as one the ratio required starters...and have shay as a main backup so be it Also let Eli show he can..or cannot be the center and use that import spot on wr...a game here...reps there is no indicator...he needs 2..3 games with the same guards Also..Shay nees to play..drop one of Jones..Wilson...or Ayers and then use that Import spot on either true DT/Nose...or any other spot where a guy will help..not jusy be a 6 st plays a game type player Designate 5 cdns on offence..3 interior lineman..BO..Demski...2 on defence...Mainly Lawsons spot and Smith... And then utilize the best 3 DA to maximize roster value and ability to take reps..and at same time allow whoever they are to actually develop under game reps Osh will allow Korn..Scmeck..Kelly..Hallett to take excessive bad wasted reps doing nothing for the defence when he could use a better DA there to develop...and if ones not lingering around show no promise.. then Walter's best bring more in..pretty simple Also..accountability needs to be paramount..players and coaching...and again...if not happening Walters best be stepping in and addressing it...either with ultimatum..or fire...and cut...hes the boss..not No Balls

He sucked before he got handed an all cfl roster and some guys with blood and guts oozing from their pores Rode that self policing basically self coaching team to lil nubs..and then rode many of them even more basically looking back and figuring they would just be like they were..all while developing nobody..and missing out on prime free agents Now..has a few legit stars..but has no clue how to maximize them..no real handle on how to identify and maximize a roster..and based on week after week of same stuff..no clue what is going wrong..let alone fix it...personally I dont think he can coach himself out of a wet bag

Exactly...and also coaches are responsible as well for the prep and getting guys ready..at least checking in to see if they are...its not a fallacy as mentioned...and none that occurs here Do you know that they could be told to be off? So you are suggesting guys are just playing rogue..scheme and playbook be damned? Thats a load of crap and if so and no coach at all has addressed it..or said wtf is going on..then yeah walters should can the whole lot of them as its totally on coaching then if nobody on staff knows what the hell is going on..let alone acting on guys not executing the game plan And again...if its noticed that poor tackling is due to form..technique...effort...first thing that should be done first day u allowed to practice...which is one day is get to work on it And before anyone says yeah but its no contact practices there are tons of techniques and drills to use..as a coach/trainer of collegiate athletes know first hand..done it..use a "thud tempo" exercise...over and over..use tackling dummies...rolling dummies..you can use rolling and even motorized targets..personal experience with it tells me I am right...leverage and pursuit angle work..can even go as far as make them go to basics with knee fit and circuit drills...act like lil pansies then treat em as such

People too hung up on this administration cap..and u hang your hc first...history everywhere basically says and dictates that unless u doing total overhaul..which we dont need. Nobody saying changing out some players will make us contenders.. but then again it also has every chance that it could..at the least make us better..and get a real good jump on 2027...playing it out as we are..just slows down progress and has us more behind the 8ball come spring...time to start the transformation is right now..during this bye and the middle 3rd of season.. cause that back third if done smartly could have us humming at just the right time..no reason to wait

We moved a player to safety..picked up 2 basically scrap heap guys who had game..totaly morphed a defence and won a cup..you dont know or can't know..until you know...ie...try...and just assume without trying makes you a loser..and as saying says...ass..and is about as weak an excuse a coach could us...cause if thats th we case..why even have them here or a PR at all for that matter..

Yeah many people just dont..or can't grasp how a football organization works..especially yhe game day aspect. End of day..the results are reflection of the hc..good and bad..ive praise osh when he was in the realm of good...I not gonna heap praise or offer excuses where not warranted... They can eat it if its a benefit to the team..and we have cash..just buy him out..regardless if we cut him lose and he lands elsewhere.. and seeing as u and some others think hes down the list of at fault then surely someone will hire him..and he off our books...one salary being paid for a canned hc coach won't kill us..and a coordinator likely isnt on more than a 2 yr deal anyway..I still think..as do others that using different personelle...the right personelle in some of our coverages would do wonders too

I actually gave a set of my tix away that I normally use...and next game I may not attend will likely give away here via a lil contest...Figure a question to ask and first to get it...or closest to it wins em agree...I dont think its a lack of talent issue....its a how we coach...use...deploy...prepare...motivate..and hold accountable the talent

Tho he prob wouldnt/couldnt do it as he is ultra busy and has knives in many fires I'd hand the o/c and playcalling to Strev...he'd bring fire and passion into the room...accountability and wouldn't put up with half assed **** and even though he struggled when he came back from the NFL is a brilliant mind and even better coach...and being barely removed from the league knows it and what is going on within it better than anyone. What player wouldnt follow his leadership and go balls to the wall for him based on who he was and what he brought to the "team" I'd also bring Bailey in for if anything some character building and motivation and maybe verbally slap some guys upside their heads...and to tear into some of the weak assed guys we have here.

THE frustrating part with this slide...and whats all involved with it was that I saw it a mile away...christ 2 miles away...and raised red flags How the heck didn't or HC...Or an assistant or Co-Ord saying to the HC in cas he was oblivious (which he is) "hey....I think we need to do this...or that...etc ."...as well as the G.M for if anything not stepping in...or up? It baffles the mind It isnt something that just came outta nowhere...or bad luck with a rash of injuries that no team coulda coped with...Self inflicted...purely thru incompetence

Yes and no...are the best players playing tho? Smith does more in limited reps than Jones or Wilson...I think a guy right off the street would offer more at wr5 spot Do we know Vibert or Eli wouldn't be better at center after a few games to settle in?...Is Stan the best LT option...Korn has zero business on an active roster...would not one of Jackson ..Texada..Allen be better in secondary than....well take your pick Would Oyelola maybe offer more than a bottom of roster Canadian...2+ yrs in the NFL tells me most likely Would Peterson offer more on roster than Daniels..Especially when MCI...Clercius ..even Eli can do that job? Cycle thru these guys...give them their shot and if not better, or even marginally better yup.....be bringing guys in week after week We dont know if they are better or not...we basically have to trust ion Osh as he is picking the roster...I have my doubts\ All I know from experience is that more times than not if you give a young...hungry guy who's been chomping at the bit a real chance...They get er done and become a fixture Hall is fine now...and already here...so its a pretty easy transition for at minimum this yr as he knows the team...and has ultra respect
