Booch

Yeah..took day off yesterday as well for no particular reason too..mid week day off the week of a game. That makes total sense for a struggling team...no wonder we look like a confused unprepared mess game days

hey...he getting rid of guys and at least trying to bring in someone else....if anything he admitting he made a mistake and doing something about it....or has made some realization that something needs to be changed....wish that was going on here exactly ....if anything he is taking ownership of some of his earlier decisions and perhaps screw ups and at least doing something about it....Osh....cant bring himself to do it...or just cant see it....or both

could be that too...and in all honesty...wish our HC here had some stones to make decisions like that....and put the thought in his players that if you are sucking ass...you may not be here long...regardless of who you are...Thats the way it should be...

SORTA like the losers we had to concede to for coords/coaches the few yrs before 2019...we coming full circle sadly or were just too stupid to see them...and realize the trend they were on

oh I agree...I just used Ott as an example cause we about to play them...and you know they gonna be coming out hard and hungry, cause they just saw 3 vets kicked to the curb...so thy will be fired up and playing with urgency and to earn/keep a job.... And here we are...no changes...and we take yesterday off for no particular reason...like wtf?!?!!?...I guess we watched the film again and saw the errors and its all fixed...yeah right eh? And this is Osh's history...who we break camp with is the roster...and thePR...and thats that...like he either doesnt want to admit a mistake or 2 with players...or 5....or he just plain dumb and has minimal clue how to create and manage a roster/pr and where and when to upgrade when needed

and also find it odd...as much work as we have to do to fix things...a lot of things...we take an extra day off on tuesday and dont practice....like wtf...great coaching and planning going on here...its a wonder why we look god awful more often than not...unprepared and confused...no reason to take a mid week day off

yeh the fact that after that joke of a game and then a bye week...that no significant changes of any type were made...or issues even brought out shows we are totaly lacking any leadership coaching wise...and to me in my experience...they have no clue how to fix...and even more disturbing can't even see the issues...they think they doing great and it will all just work out....Rudderless ship and not the fault of the players...even if some are just not good enough...they have zero hope The articles with Younger and Condell as well...just ooze "i have no effin clue"....pathetic....and anytime Osh is in front of the mic its more the same....for many yrs....Guy is just out to lunch we were putting lipstick on a pif for 2 yrs now....and every lucky/b.s win we got just internally justified Osh and what he was doing and that all was good...when it wasnt...I said then..and been saying ever since we gonna be in huge trouble...we were in huge trouble...and right now we are hanging on tothe edge of a cliff we trying not to totally fall off...But it's coming...and the lack of anything being done during bye week says so....A couple guys coming back from injury isn't a saving the season thing...we had the issues when they were playing...it's the coaching I wish we were playing a legit team this friday because if we squeak out a win vs Ott...just gonna be more of the same and make Osh think he on right path, and delay the inevitable. Dimwitty is throwing out guys like garbage and there gonna be new blood playing there....Hungry young guys with a point to prove...and a team thats been sent the message to shape up or you will be promptly shipped out...regardless of who you are and how long you been around...Thats a scary team to go up against when you yourself are a listing mess People been mocking Ol Blue eyes a bit....but he aint sitting pat and just being complacent...Maybe Osh should do a fraction of that If we lose..at home again...coming off a bye...vs a team with probably 3..4 new faces in lineup...man on man...I'd cut the HC lose right after the game...cause we hooped We already got embarrased by a 3rd string QB playing on a team missing a whole whack of regulars...having that happen again vs a winless squad...something needs to be done

Whatever...if a true blue chipper is dumped sure...the rest..all basically of same ilk..u just can't admit osh is a horrible evaluation guy

just cause a training camp cut doesn't get "immediately" picked up elsewhere means jackshit...All the other teams have put time and money into their own scouting....some of it yrs in making and will exhaust that first. It's a slap in the face to your scouts to disregard their work and do that...One of the key reasons we lost our young guru..Sure he had some ties to Goviea....but he could have easily been retained, but said eff it..I going where I know my work will be put to good use

yup....a losss here and there because we were just not the better team that day...to mounting losses from the same epidemic of basically what could be prevented/fixed are 2 different things...the ineptness and oblivious attitude...or juts the dont have a clue attitude is what is ailing things and turning fans off... exactly....we have deteriorated in a huge way...and to be honest, with Osh here I have no faith and can't see much changing...ever....It has been totally apparent what was/could happen 3+ yrs ago and the clown did nothing about it but stayed the course as it got worse...mainly cause he has knows no other way, and isnt a real builder/coacher and his time has expired...it happens to the best of them the fact that over last 2 yrs especially the losses ...and some ugly ones didnt even trigger the idea of any change/tweak....but the same excuses, and they will fix it...and havnt Sure sign of a coach with nary a clue how to...let alone actually doing anything about it The fact that after being drubbed...having a bye....and we back to work and only change likely is due to injury issues, or a guy or 2 coming back from injury is proof right there they either have no clue what to do...or just dont want to....With injured guys coming back not being the saving grace, as the issues were there already with them....Its about the preparation, the game plans...the adjustment...or more specifically ability to make them and in game decisions....and thats coaching...No group of players is gonna succeed with whats going on here

I agree...not like we brought in nobodies...non college players...dudes new to the sport....most if not all have had NFL stints of some type...were on other CFL squads...came from legit schools with better coaching than a lot of CFL teams employ....the issue here with this coaching crew...mainly the lead of the HC is ability to assess...recognize and then utilize talent...or coach them up...we see it on a game to game basis how we are literally out coached...unprepared...unable to adjust until its too late and have guys in wrong positions natural to them....wasnt an issue when we had studs...CFL experienced in their prime...before that we had retreads and guys past their prime...and last several seasons again guys past their prime...others well on their way to being at that point...and quite a few with no business being on a roster let alone starting...and only so due to being here a while...all the while nobody in the wings being coached up and developed...

or....maybe Osh cant pick and assess talent worth a crap?...I lean more that way...and based on just roster use and who plays based on what he has kept...he has many many times played the lesser player Talent at this level thats brought in...across all teams in the CFL is basically pretty consistent across the board and all comparable...yes there is the real outlier/gem but for the most part not a lot separates most....It's all about the coaching and what you do with, and how you best utilize yours....the notion our scouting team has just brought in garbage and Osh is forced to make chicken salad outta chickenshit is also just garbage our issues of late...now we dont have established vets in their prime...basically self coaching/policing themselves is coaching and teaching....and we obviously are not a good staff in that regard....The issues that keep coming up...over and over and the excuses for it...and the non correction of it is telling The Younger article about it just snowballing is a prime example of a staff with no answer and no ability to stop the bleeding in a game...i said it many a time...coaching has killed us

oh I agree....coach is control of who see's the field...and how often...but also needs to have the ability to recognize the 45 best players to keep...and he sucks at that...even if Walter's has supplied sub par guys...which I totally dont see as the case...he still picks the poorer of them anyway...what he see's/values/prioritizes in a player in a lot of circumstances doesnt translate into the best available...let alone some instances even worthy...so it wouldnt matter I think what the scouts bring in..He's flawed in his assessing, not to mention self admitting he doesnt really have a good grasp of the x and o's part of things as well....not a good mix for a HC And I agree...Walter's needs to be a G.M and be in charge...and if his HC doesn't like it...so be it...But when you have buddies in those 2 positions...you get what we see now If Walter's refuses...or just cant make the big boy decisions he needs to go..We already know Osh cant...

toss him around...lol...show him how strength definitely translates into speed! haha he will see it when he see's how fast he is immobilzed hahaha

we already hit the iceburg...we been listing and taking on water for a few yrs now as we slowly sink....but the total plunge to bottom is imminent if things dont get patched up pronto You are 100 percent correct...the G.M can clip a player at anytime...for any reason he see's fit..and the HC can deal with it ...same with bringing in guys...Walter's needs to take more control and not let Osh keep fertilizing the rot

if ZC is back...I'd let him call his own plays for most part...he's a vet...will have feel for whats going on....and have TC "suggest" some things on occasion People under this belief that a QB needs to be led by the nose...not true...especially for a guy like ZC..Harris...BLM...Adams...I'd even say Rourke too now

although thats funny and made me lauh...totally hear ya! Hopefully he isnt dealing with major issues...but since yr 2 in T.O he has morphed big time so something is up His real erratic actions now too seem a bit concerning....

yup!!

and I bounced for yrs....and the regulars...and the known ones with alcohol and dependency issues, especially the ones who have been at it a while pretty much 90% of them had that look as well...

most of the teams tho look leaps and bounds better than us tho...save fo Ottawa...and we barely beat them...we need to fix things up and fast or we gonna be left in the dust

Him swapped in for Fletcher with Reese....WJ...Gatkouth, Lawson...Ceresna would give us a nice rotation for our top 6...And I guess Schmeck for limited reps/gaoline type stuff and Jumbo/goaline stuff for the offence....But we still need a true nose/dt type. Dixon showed promise as well as a multi position guy but when healthy does he battle for a spot with Jaworski?

I agree

Was gonna say..osh was told to make the change for lack of better wording

Our roster is littered with st only draft picks that had zero potential for anything but that..save for our 1st and 2nd picks for most part
