International Hockey does not allow fighting yet some of the best hockey is in that arena. NHL does not want to stop fighting because it brings in money. Employers in all businesses have a responsibility to ensure the safety of their employees if they fail they will have to pay. Professional sports put the onus on the players to look after themselves. It should not be the responsibility of a rookie to insure no one goes nuts on him and knocks him out with a head shot.

It might cost you a touchdown then but do you think Manny would be very keen on going down the center again? Nothing is free. You want to protect your territory you have to fight for it. Experience

I really can't feel bad about the team this year. Like everybody else I was hoping for a win but still it was a great year. Now that we have a good team it would be nice to have good assistant coaches to match. It's pretty hard to intercept a ball when you have given the guy a 10 yard cushion.

His wallet could be lighter this week.
