  1. Doesn't that bring back memories of 2009? Bramlet, Santos and Bishop with a good Oline too. Would be real nice if Durant gave Jones nightmare after the game.
  2. How would they feel about the snake? That's also fun.
  3. When you see what is happening elsewhere it sure is nice to have all of our drafts signed thanks to a professional management.
  4. While the offence is out of the red zone the defence will play a little softer. Once they are pushed to the brink they will play substantially better. maybe we have not picked up our game to match.
  5. Welcome! It is a nice place.
  6. International Hockey does not allow fighting yet some of the best hockey is in that arena. NHL does not want to stop fighting because it brings in money. Employers in all businesses have a responsibility to ensure the safety of their employees if they fail they will have to pay. Professional sports put the onus on the players to look after themselves. It should not be the responsibility of a rookie to insure no one goes nuts on him and knocks him out with a head shot.
  7. But Jones muttered; "What does that have to do with it? I'll be the center of attention for at least three weeks." We had some lousy GM's but at least we were not paying them his kind of coins.
  8. I'm glad he will still be around for training camp if only to keep Jones honest. From my place this morning, I could hear the banjos playing and the XXX jugs gurgling. The word in Regina is they forced the league to fire him. The power that comes when, in your mind, you're Canada's team.
  9. Both! Brilliant on the part of Young, Desperate on the part of Jones.
  10. Like the Riders after next year?
  11. Here I thought Jones the clown would have fixed things up and we would have nothing to cheer about. Silly me!
  12. The HC might have something to do with that.
  13. I guess Burris will have to get his door frames adjusted to get his ego in. Humility does not exist in that man. He was good but so was the rest of the team. Too bad those guys seem to get forgotten after the game.
  14. I didn't realize they had won so many cups in a row. oh, I see an 8 year cycle kind of dynasty.
  15. It worked. They love the Commish again. Just a problem though, how do you get 1000 combines in a sportplex?
  16. It might cost you a touchdown then but do you think Manny would be very keen on going down the center again? Nothing is free. You want to protect your territory you have to fight for it. But in the end you own that chunk of land and that could save you a lot of touchdowns. Hearing footsteps is very distracting.
  17. Don't you think Nichols was playing it according to the OC's plan.
  18. The odds of making a 61 yard field goal were no better than getting a first down on a 3 and 4 situation. Costly lesson but it is what it is. Good luck to the Lions Next week. At least we'll have lost to a team that is going to the Grey Cup Western finals.
  19. I really can't feel bad about the team this year. Like everybody else I was hoping for a win but still it was a great year. Now that we have a good team it would be nice to have good assistant coaches to match. It's pretty hard to intercept a ball when you have given the guy a 10 yard cushion.
  20. His wallet could be lighter this week.
  21. Good Luck Bombers! You're the BEST!!!!!
