Free Agency Frenzy
Two words for your revisionist Rider history....Justin Capicciotti.

Free Agency Frenzy
LOL...the list of FA's that Chris Jones signs then doesn't utilize correctly and then tosses away is getting to be pretty long and illustrious. They were going NAT at DE last year if I recall correctly. How'd that work out. No one has a worse track record in FA than Jones. Best thing that could happen to the RIders is if he stopped signing FA's.

Bombers extend Sukh Chungh through 2018
It is my understanding that Sukh Chungh loves it here so much that he took a deep discount to extend here. #Riderfanlogic

Bombers extend Sukh Chungh through 2018
This might be the best signing we make this week.

Someone needs to explain to him that it's none of his damn business and he should shut the hell up.

Ultra shocked...since he has come out and said on a couple of occasions he only has interest in the Stamps or retirement.

I'm not disputing that his value is higher than the Als offer. All I'm saying is that he has little leverage or ability to do anything about it. All he can do is carve out the best deal he can or demand a trade and take the chance the Als don't stonewall him for 2 years.

I hope so!!

What you are forgetting is that the Als hold the exclusive rights on him for 2 years from the time he first rejects their offer. This is not a Westerman or FA situation. This is a draft pick/exclusive rights situation and that gives Montreal the leverage. Please tell me what Foucault has proven in the CFL....nothing that I am aware of. He is in the same boat as the Gaydosh's and Greenwood;s etc that came back after failed NFL stints.

The reason first rounders sign initial contracts in that price range isn't a reflection of how good a player they are, it is a reflection on the fact that one team has exclusive rights to them. SHOULD Foucault get more...sure. Should JSJ have gotten more last year, or Sukh gotten more out of his rookie deal etc. etc., of course they should have. They just simply aren't in a bargaining position and therefore that is what the entry level price of a first rounder is. Not saying this isn't on the low end....just that it's not so outrageously low that there would be any grounds for anyone to do anything about it. It would be nearly impossible for the CFLPA or anyone else to prove bad faith in the negotiations. The offer is in line with first round salaries. Like it or not, Foucault has proven absolutely nothing in this league.

Most first rounders sign in the 80-90k range Mike....not sure why this surprises you? Josiah St. John held out for a good portion of the season so that he could get 100k a year over 3 years. It may be perceived as low for Foucault and by fans, but there is little the CFLPA could do about this offer really. They can't say it's unfair because it may be low but not unreasonably so. It's up to Foucault to make them blink....demand a trade...get an agent....make some noise.

It's 2017 and the Riders just put _________ on their neg list ...
You may be right. He predicts Grey Cup nearly every year.

It's 2017 and the Riders just put _________ on their neg list ...
It's too funny LG....forced to defend the incomprehensible.

Pederson also picked them to have 12 wins last year so this is not surprising. In fact, I don't think there has ever been a year where Pederson doesn't predict a great team. I would like to know in what dream world he sees a comparison between Jones and Bellichek?

When you have unlimited resources and are a social and media juggernaut like the CFL you can do stuff like that....Oh wait...I guess there are a couple flaws in my logic after all.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
A bad team that enters the next season also being bad is the very definition of underperforming as an organization.
-
Bombers Off-Season Transactions
For the majority (that doesn't mean all) of the past 25 years our organization and team has underperformed. There can be no denying that.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
What's bullshit is you and Noeller putting words in my mouth so one more time I will state it again and see if you get it right. For the majority of the past 25 years we have not been doing things right. How you guys got Grey Cup or nothing out of that statement is beyond me The only person you are arguing with is the context you guys have added to an otherwise completely accurate statement.
-
Bombers Off-Season Transactions
Then maybe you guys need to learn what the term "majority of the time" means before saying a statement is bulls hit.
-
Bombers Off-Season Transactions
Jeff Reinbold, Lyle Bauer cheaping out, Joe Mack.....that's not bullshit. That really happened whether you like it or not. You find me some positives to spin in any of that. For clarity, I was talking about on field performance and you would have to be homerific to suggest that we have been successful as an aggregate over the past 25 years. In fact, you would have to be stupid to suggest that but you keep riding the good ship lollipop if you want to Noeller. I am not TBurg that just makes negative comments at every turn, save your indignation for him.
-
Bombers Off-Season Transactions
For the vast majority of the past 25 years it's hard to argue we have done things right. Just saying...

Hubris thy name is Chris Jones. I LOVE IT!! The guy is as big a car wreck as Mike Kelly. Get the popcorn and watch as Chris Jones stands on the roof with a fiddle as the Riders burn below him. Every time I think that Jones couldn't make any less sense with his roster moves, he just comes right out and sets the bar of stupidity even higher. Quarterback....we don't need no steenking quarterback.

I think you guys got a little too enamored by one or two games by these guys and put the blinders on in regards to the vast majority of games where they were invisible. That is bound to happen when a team has such a small sample size of good individual performances to choose from. Fans start inflating the average to give themselves hope. Trust an unbiased observer...your team looks awful so far.

Your top end is very good (Carter/Roosevelt) after that it is pretty average. You guys grossly over rate Holley/Collins/Bagg. I definitely think that as a whole our receiving corps is better. You guys have a couple better players but we have the definitive edge overall.
