You're anti-Lapo campaign clouds your vision sometimes ha... Lapo does adapt his play calling and he leaves a lot up to the QB - Lapo used read option A LOT when Buck was here, I think he still would but Nichols mobility and happy feet doesn't allow for it on the same level

I am a Streveler fan and really hope we don't lose him this off-season... but he's a gunslinger and will throw INTs - it is a legit issue That being said, we've never seen him get a chance in an offence designed for his skill set... he's the one that can move the pocket and hit guys in stride

Answer is somewhere in between... 3 games ago, we completely went away from playaction - not sure if Lapo is overthinking or they got scared after the Harris fumbles That completion record in the Ottawa game was not good for this offence... everyone glossed over the fact that the O stunk up the joint in the first half and then Nichols/Lapo dink and dunked their way to a completion record Need to get back to what works - playaction, misdirection (not 'gadget' plays) and long balls

Hecht isnunfortunately becoming the player that we thought he was... love to have his leadership but not as a full time starter

I wouldn't entirely blame Lapo for that... Nichols has happy feet and checks down to Harris WAY more than he used to When Lapo keeps playaction and misdirection in the game, he's a good OC - for some reason, we've gone away from that in the last 3-4 games

What a nightmare KR blocking challenges would be... fishing expedition on every big return... I like the big play returns this year - glad the refs have lightened up even if its a blown call here and there - way better than it was

Yup. This has never changed and never will - Hall, like Lapo, always reverts to what he knows... Hall leaves the flats open and needs his players to be athletic freaks in pursuit Lapo goes conservative at all the worst times Both of them try to 'hold leads'... this has always been the case

I think all of our guys can play man... but Hall calls a hybrid zone/man system that often leaves the flats wide open - so our DBs end up in zone and contain gains mostly if the DL is not getting massive pressure That's why this team D succeeds in the redbone - there's more opportunity to play man under Hall's schemes
