NHL is changing... look at the results of the holdouts this year - they maybe got one more year or another 250k? Very excited never to see Enstrom and Myers on the powerplay again...

$5-5.5 is your A-list defencemen, then it drops to 3.5-4... then $800-$1.5 Enstrom contract is looking bad, Myers is no longer very good from a cap perspective... Stuart overpaid... there's a lot of teams in this fix.

Replace Burmi and Thorbs with Copp and Dano and I like this lineup.

With Despres on LTIR, I think Ducks have space... The new contracts are making Enstroms and Myers' deals look less impressive. Market has adjusted.

That's exactly the point... no way Stanley was higher than McAvoy or Chychryn on their list - so pull the trigger on that trade or wait and draft Clague, Cholowski or Johansen... anyway water under the bridge.
