Trouba is a future #1 D... one of his reasons for holding out was lack of power play time. So... when he comes back, we play Enstrom and Buff on every single power play. If I was him, I'd leave as soon as I could. I'd be surprised if Maurice doesn't put Myers back with Enstrom when he's healthy... Aside from destroying Helle's confidence, this is the biggest mistake the franchise is making right now.

Sure looks like Tate has never started more than nine games in one season... been three years since he's really faced a #1 D and his stats are pretty average for a backup. Durant seems like a good placeholder as you develop a QB... Jones/Murphy are about to blow a ton of $$ on Duron Carter - why not just give that to DD This is just plain ego.

Buff has played more minutes than any other player in the league. Depth. Lots of average forward chip and chasers... no D depth
