  1. Will the CFL reveal that the impetus for the creation of the XFL was their attempt to lure Vince McMahon to buy the Argos? He countered by offering to buy the entire league and when denied, he set about developing his own league, or so rumor has it!
  2. Sunny's porn is now available on Vivid.com. I havent seen but did read a couple of hilarious reviews... though Im not sure Im allowed to post them here as they are pretty detailed...
  3. Anyone else check out American Crime Story last night? i thought it was tremendous. I highly recommend the book its based on (Run of His Life), which I've read 2-3 times as its such a fascinating case. I imagine the producers are quite happy the whole Making a Murderer thing exploded as these are two sides of the same coin in some respects. OJ was a rich and powerful guy who got away with murder after accusing the cops of planting evidence they didnt plant. Steve Avery was a poor and uneducated hick who was convicted of a murder he didnt commit after accusing the cops of planting evidence that they actually did plant. Amazing. I hope they intend to keep American Crime Story going. So much great material out there. Scott Peterson. Jon Bonet. Steve Avery. There's three seasons right there. I'd love to see the Peterson case get the season long treatment. That's another fascinating case with an interesting suspect. EDIT: Looks like a second season is already planned: The Hollywood Reporter reveals in this week’s cover story that the second installment will center on Hurricane Katrina and its devastating aftermath. The working plan, according to Murphy, is to follow a group of six to eight people in an attempt to examine all sides of the tragedy, from the Superdome to the hospital to those who were put on buses and dropped off with babies who were forced to wear trash bags for multiple days. "I want this show to be a socially conscious, socially aware examination of different types of crime around the world," he said. "And in my opinion, Katrina was a f—ing crime — a crime against a lot of people who didn’t have a strong voice and we’re going to treat it as a crime. That’s what this show is all about."
  4. Ladd has repeatedly said he wants to be here.
  5. We'll keep in mind Buff has basically said he doesn't concer himself with contract talks and doesn't want to be bothered by his agent until decision time. So the agent will take time in squeezing as much from the jets before going to Buff. And both sides will see the deadline as leverage.
  6. Have to wonder if Ladd is pouting. Injury or no, he's not a player the coach trusts any longer. That's a serious fall from grace.
  7. Doesn't mean you can't trade him. Just means he has to agree.
  8. This looks interesting. RAMPAGE starring The Rock RAMPAGE is a 1986 arcade game where players take control of gigantic monsters, including a giant ape named George, a giant lizard name Lizzy, or a giant wold named Ralph. The game saw the monsters running amok across the United States, fighting the military, and destroying key landmarks. Several sequels were developed for the title as well, adding even more types of monsters to the playable roster and extending their path of destruction into the cosmos and even back in time.
  9. Interesting aspect to this case. The former prosecutor announced he would not prosecute Cosby. Cosby then answers questions in a civil suit more openly because he knew he was not subject to prosecution. Now new prosecutor is using those words against him. Norristown, Pennsylvania (CNN)Former Pennsylvania prosecutor Bruce Castor may not want a judge to throw out recent sexual assault charges against Bill Cosby. But he conceded Tuesday he thought he barred the commonwealth from prosecuting the case 11 years ago. Cosby's lawyers contend that charges filed late last year by Castor's successor should be dismissed because Castor announced in 2005 that Cosby wouldn't be prosecuted.Bruce Castor, a former Montgomery County district attorney, testified in a pretrial hearing in Norristown, where attorneys for the entertainer are asking a judge to drop recent charges accusing Cosby of sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in 2004. Castor testified Tuesday that he did so in part because he didn't believe the case was strong enough for a conviction. "Mr. Cosby was not getting prosecuted, at all, ever, as far as I was concerned," Castor testified Tuesday. "... I made the decision as the sovereign that Mr. Cosby would not be prosecuted, no matter what." His other reason for not charging Cosby? Castor said he thought the move might help Constand successfully sue the entertainer. Castor essentially conceded that the only reason Cosby testified in Constand's subsequent 2005 civil suit -- the very testimony that prosecutors are now using to charge him -- was because he took prosecution off the table. When Castor declined to prosecute in 2005, he said, Cosby couldn't claim Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination in the civil suit. "Cosby would have had to have been nuts to have said those things (in the civil deposition) if he thought he was going to be prosecuted," Castor said. But, Castor told Cosby's lawyers Tuesday: "I'm not on your team. I want them (the prosecutors who've charged Cosby) to win."
  10. Isn't Bernie a very old socialist
  11. I like Friedman also. and people say I look like him.
  12. If the jets aren't comfrotable with Hutch as backup they can always bring someone in cheap with experience next year.
  13. I respect religious freedom and I believe in Christianity. But its hard not to understand the perspective of non-Christians who see some of this stuff and think the religious right is as nutty as many claim the fundamentalists or extremists of other religions are. A person running for President really needs to understand that they serve all American's regardless of religion. They can be religious themselves, but it shouldn't define them as a leader and President. At this rate, Hilary is looking like a damn savior of US politics.
  14. Regarding "Making A Murderer" subject Steven Avery, he has new lawyers working on getting a new trial and they've released some interesting information. ody was not burned in burn pit bc heat would have burned down Avery's garage. A lot of junk science at the junkyard." "Culprit had to remove his own DNA from key so TH's removed in process. Rub key on Avery's clothes for skin cells. Presto." "The 22 removed from garage did not exit TH's head. State expert failed to testify bullet exited -- that 22 driven to scene." Also, the former Prosecutor (who was chased from office after a sex scandal) apparently mailed Avery imploring him to work with him (the prosecutor) on a book where Avery would confess. That guy is a dink.
  15. If Ted Cruz is the only option other than Trump, the US is ****** Oh and look what Duck Dynasty idiot surfaced too! While stumping in Iowa for Ted Cruz on Sunday, “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson declared that gay marriage is a sign of growing “depravity” and “perversion” in America. Robertson, notorious for his racist and anti-gay remarks, said of marriage equality: “It is evil, it’s wicked, it’s sinful and they want us to swallow it.” “We have to run this bunch out of Washington D.C.,” Robertson said. “We have to rid the earth of them. Get them out of there.” Cruz followed Robertson on stage, calling the reality TV star “a joyful, cheerful, unapologetic voice of truth.” In an interview with Fox News, also on Sunday, Robertson said that Ted Cruz “loves James Madison,” whom he claimed said that the U.S. is based “on the capacity of each of ourselves to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves based on the Ten Commandments of God.” Robertson may want to brush up on his history, as the “Ten Commandments” quote he cites is actually fake.
  16. Yes, in this case it is. He's a hard working player at a minimal cost. Not the end of the world to lose him, but would rather keep him. He will clear though.
  17. Last night's episode of the X-Files was brilliant. Reminds me very much of many of their classic episodes, with just a hint of self awareness to add a new twist to it (especially love Muldur's ring tone being the X-Files theme) Tonight is the People vs OJ.
  18. it might be to our benefit that they didnt have them figured out. It seems last summer Ladd was the priority and Buff was not. Now that's switched. Although I still have this feeling the reason they've "moved on" from Ladd is they have chiseled him down to his bottom line so they can work on Buff and then see what the money looks like for both.
  19. Seems a bit counter intuitive to me that the NHL has all this influence on minor things when Sportsnet was writing the big cheque. If anything, Sportsnet should have the stroke. But ofcourse this article only played to one perspective and that was Ron essentially positioning himself as the champion of the little guy. Rogers denied it. Bettman wouldnt even discuss it. However, if Bettman did make his opinion known, Im not sure I'd blame him. He'd see HNIC as media for the league and want to showcase a positive image at all times. Also, there is the possibility that someone thinks they were doing what Bettman would want without bothering to ask him. At least everyone can surely agree the diminished stature of Ron worked against them.
  20. Im not sure what fans would do differently though. Should we get rid of Trouba, Scheif, Lowry and Ehlers because they are on entry level deals and replace them with high priced veterans who likely wont sign for one year anyway? Any griping is misplaced. People should be thrilled. Because everything changes from here. We'll never have another time with so many entry level guys driving salary costs down.
