We cut Ricky Collins? I like Jace Davis, but he seems like he's better than the rest of our recruits who made it into TC.

A tie was fine, probably even more well deserved than a win or loss for either team. Both teams had ample opportunity to close out the game and neither one could. Robinson dropped the easiest interception you'll ever see in football.

Good. I had seen more than enough of Calgary and Ottawa finding different ways to piss that game away.

Ottawa would be better off with LaFrance than Grigsby.

TSN always loved to hype him up... didn't they name him the best athlete in the CFL or something when he played for us?

Maver was drafted as a kicker wasn't he? He hasn't really gotten to do it since he got hurt and Paredes broke out, but it might be worth Calgary's while to take another look at that one.

Missed a ton of tackles as well. The sad thing is, he was hardly a downgrade from Bruce Johnson in the first two weeks.

The problem is, at least for the Bombers, is that they also can't recruit enough quality import O-linemen. It seems like the position in general is in a state of disarray.

I noticed that we had better adjustments against the blitz as well. We actually kept guys like Harris and even Smith in to block when Hamilton overloaded and sent seven guys.

Willy gets the ball out to him on those swing passes a little quicker/harder and he has a lot more room to run as well.

Our secondary still sucks though. It'll be a little better when Adams is back, but its hard to know who to blame between the DB's and the scheme.

Willy had numbers like that in the first two weeks. This is exactly why stats are deceiving.

I actually thought our O-line played a pretty good game tonight. Goossen was getting dominated, but from what I can tell everyone else did fairly well or at least decent.

Man, I know we're frustrated with Willy but I would hate to be stuck with a duo like Jennings & Lulay.

I was there live and expecting us to get our ass kicked.. Don't care how we did it, it was great to see us get a win.

Sounds like TSN is stealing it's bullet points from members here. Both those points have been brought up by a couple of our posters.

I can't see that happening based on how bad Winnipeg&Sask have looked.

5-6? More like 8-9... You could even make a case that it's been more like 12 years since we've had a QB who's excelled in those situations.

Cato & Tate still would've outplayed Willy and kicked our ass.

Remember last year or in 2014 when there was a lot of talk about the discipline(or the lack of)our players received for boneheaded mistakes? Tons of posters here went on about how that's just how he speaks to the media, and just because a Kuale wasn't benched for committing three unnecessary roughness penalties in one game didn't mean that was how O'Shea treated players in the locker room. Then we had guys like Morley come out and say that he didn't do f all in terms of holding his players accountable. It seems like our country club atmosphere just keeps trickling further and further down the line. O'Shea won't be our coach a month from now. '' We'll be better because I said we're going to be''. Well we're quickly approaching 0-3. Its put up or shut up time for O'Shea.

I have the joy of going to this game, let's hope Its decent enough that I can bear staying until the end..

This is all just IMO of course but for my top 15, with a real log jam from 2-5, I'd go with something like this... Tier 1 - Collaros Tier 1B) Burris, Reilly, BLM, Harris Tier 2) Durant, Glenn, Ray Tier 3) Jennings, Franklin, Willy, Lulay Tier 4) Cato, Nichols, Masoli

We haven't recruited a better defensive end than Greg Peach in three years. That's beyond pathetic.

Chamblin, Higgins. This site is too much. Lets just hire Mike Kelly and call it a day.

They should've saved the fake for a third & medium or less situation. Ten yards on that play was going to be hard to come by.
