How is Lucky still in the lineup? He brings nothing to the table for our O or special teams.

Giving up the two cost us the game in the LDC cost us the game - don’t do it again. Lucky and Darvin playing like garbage to start.

Geoff is fine. O’Shea is being stubborn and doesn’t want to bench Neufeld due to injury. I’m not sure why they won’t play him at LG at least.

Peterman/Bailey over Demski/Lucky really improves our O.

Does this mean we can expect an Andy Mulumba signing?

I would like to see Gray back in the lineup and Hecht out. Hopefully coach Hall is okay from a personal standpoint. This is such an unbelievably huge game, we win this and much of the bad will from the last two weeks will be forgotten about. We lose this game? We're likely stuck in third place and a large number of Bomber fans will either hit the panic button or exit stage left. Hopefully O'Shea has the guys ready to play, I really thought we'd come out and pummel Hamilton after the Montreal debacle. This is an absolute must win game for us.

No to MBT, no to Collaros (has he been cleared to play or even practice?) and maybe to Franklin if the price is right. None of those guys should be seeing the field for us unless Strev goes down. If we're making a trade with the Argos, i'd prefer to go all in and get Derel Walker for the playoff run. I would be willing to move Lucky and a 1st rounder for Walker and a backup QB.

Peterman over Whitehead would be an improvement for our O. Whitehead is a gadget player for us, he might be an every down guy on a team that loves to throw down the field but he doesn’t fit our style of O at all.

This is a key point. Big misses in the losses against Montreal and Toronto (IIRC on that one).

You should also recall the fact that Dressler and Darvin Adams both got hurt in Nichols first start against Edmonton and we started a winning steak without Dressler, Adams and Ryan Smith.

I’m far from a Nichols fan, but if he doesn’t come in and play well for the 1-4 Bombers with the entire receiving core out O’Shea doesn’t make it through 2016.

The big issue is that our receiving core has been an issue throughout Walters/O’Shea’s tenure and it still is. I like Lawler, but Darvin isn’t a number one receiver and Whitehead isn’t an every down receiver. The fact that we have guys like Bailey (who looked like a perfect fit for our O in the BB) and Peterman sitting on the bench makes our receiving cores poor play and O’Shea’s reluctance to shake things up even more frustrating.

Guys who play hard like Peterman and Bailey deserve to be in the lineup over our putrid receiving core sans Lawler.

Why is Bailey not in the lineup and why was Chris Matthews cut? I’m beginning to sour on Hecht very quickly.

I just don't think a Matt Nichols led team can win in the playoffs against a team like Calgary. I do believe that a Chris Streveler led team can. Nichols did a lot of good things for us and helped take us out of the dumpster, but I don't think he's the QB to take us over the hump.

Taking Bailey out of the lineup was a bad yet expected move. He looked good against the Riders and deserved to play over Whitehead or even Lawler in my opinion.

This is exactly like the Toronto game. I thought we were over playing like this? Absolutely awful.
