And how talented did Montreal look?

Tim Burke saving hs job. LOL.
-
They have competed? Look at the point differential in these games! LaPo can recite the number of games he lost by 4 points or less in his tender....and stated they competetd.

People have no idea what people are doing in their respective positions regardless of what their actual job title is. To say someone what as Dir PP, AGM, or Dir of F Ops they are actually doing is a misconception.
-
You don't think for a minute that Kohert and Etienne as pending FAs would not go back to play at home in a minute? Three reasons players choose where to play, money, geography and playtime.

Mike Kelly Explains Kevin Glenn Cut From 2009
DR. CFL replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Taman was not demoted when Kelly was hired. He quit because he didn't want to work with the guy. There was no GM, Bauer had decided he would oversee football ops and Kelly, Murphy and Hodgkinson. -

Mr. Dee you got a p,us one for your DelMonaco one and a minus one on your last one here. Still a better record then the Bombers. -

There are significantly more to being the GM than deciding the roster. Joe Mack hadn't figured that out either. -

So determining the roster is done by the GM or by the HC? -

Taman left in January. Kelly was hired as the HC, Murhpy was Dir of PP, and Hodgkinson was the AGM. No one held the position of GM. -
Some one explain how the DelMonaco thread ends up back on Joey Elliott? Class class can we try and stay focused and on topic or we will have to make you the next Bomber GM

Mike Kelly was not the GM when he was here. -

And why does anyone give a flying fig what Mike Kelly says or thinks - if he in fact does have the capacity to think. As any therapist would tell you those with the biggest egos are often the most insecure people in the world. -
Long live the days of Bob Wylie.

The did not do anything positive to help Jade progress. The best thing they could have done was sent him back to school and let him play another year and develop. He hadn't played a lot in college. Practice roster or roster and not playing in games is not a real substitute for game experience at any level.

Throw them all in a hat and they are the same player and then what do you do protect them all in the expansion draft?
-
Wade has an ego as big as his wasteland. Don't kid yourself this is his dream come true, his toy to break and he can thank his boyfriends on the BoD for the opportunity. The pinball wizards that manufactured this last go round. If it is still broke who fixes it? Same s.... Different pile and no shovel.

Careers are either short lived or guys move to a better situation. U don't groom any one you go get them. Danny Barrett thought he was the heir apparent in Sask to Shivers. How did that work out for him? If Walters remains as the AGM there is no guarantee you can make that he doesn't leave when the grass is greener elsewhere. Sorry, that is the football biz.
-
Why should Miller be the guy to decide what QB to acquire.....he better not be. That's what you have a GM in concert with a HC decide. They should worry about what questions they want to ask interviewing a GM and stop thinking you r the GM.
-
Austin like it or not has continually attempted to improve his roster both by bringing in vets from other teams and new players. That blows the ass out of the continued youth excuse. As for the vets we have brought in, Foster, Parenteau, Bo Smith, C Muamba any other slugs and duds I missed. So enough of the BS inheriting poor talent blah blah blah.....Austin could have said that but he actually did something to change it.
-
Walters is under contract for another year. Of course Miller is saying he will be here. He isn't getting the GM job and if he doesn't like that he can leave and not go on the Bomber EI payout plan. As for the article, someone needs to step up and say what the plan is. This notion of interm people making permanent decisions is both ridiculous and poor business. Let an interm CEO at Blackberry sell off their assets.

Competitive isn't necessarily indicative of a winning team nor a winning culture in an organization. A team becomes a product and a mirror of those running the organization. Hence the recent product or lack there of.
-
Why blame Etienne for being an under utilized asset? When put in a situation, as limited as it is he has made plays. Blame the staff not the player. Sure thing let him go and flourish elsewhere.
-
Neurfeld is in fact a potential asset , so now all the GMs here need to revise their lists of protected NIMPs in the expansion draft.
-
Kohlert and Etienne return to play at home in Sask as FAs.
