  1. I think it's been tough to watch the quarterback play this season because of the fact all the other units have been playing very well for the most part. It wouldn't be a stretch to say if the Bombers got better QB play in their two losses, they're 3-0 right now. Is Goltz the answer right now? The coaches are really the only ones that can say. But this offence needs a jumpstart and Buck seems to be the one holding this offence back right now. I would for sure like to see Goltz get some more playing time next week.
  2. As with any back-to-back game, I'll be very curious to see the adjustments each team makes for tonight's game. But Pierce needs to play good for the Bombers to have a chance tonight. That appears to be the one position holding this team back right now and the whole offence suffered last week because of poor QB play.
  3. Roberts was my first favorite player I ever had as a kid. He was the first jersey I ever purchased and he was kind enough to sign it before a game for me. I know things didn't end well between him and the Bombers but I'm glad he's coming back for the proper sendoff he deserves.
  4. Fair enough, I just think Hefney is a superior player over Johnson and if Burke wanted to send a message by cutting someone in the secondary, I would rather of it been Johnson. Obviously not disclosing it was a big mistake on Hefney's part, but I don't see why it couldn't have just been a fine and everyone move along.
  5. What I don't understand is why resign a guy in the offseason and then turn around and say he's lost a step when you cut him. If this about his legal troubles then this is BS. IMO, the way Burke has been talking to the media all camp, it was like he had his mind made up he was going to cut a vet before camp even started. Too bad he cut the wrong one.
  6. The ALL CAPS is waay too much. I just get the feeling they're going to want a mulligan on this decision 5-10 years down the road. Obviously ownership is completely set on the name; I don't think they got much positive feedback when it was leaked a few months back. Think if they wanted too, they could have changed it.
  7. Ya, I'd be interested to see who they'd give the reps to in the first exhibition game. I wouldn't think any more than 2 would get reps, but I could be wrong. And I would think for the first preseason game, they would sit Renaud and see what newcomer stands out.
  8. Good to see he's off to a nice start at camp. He'll certainly be someone to watch once the preseason starts rolling. Important to establish some NI depth behind Cauchy.
  9. If you guys are still looking for people, I would be interested
  10. I'm probably just echoing other posters thoughts above, but Crowton really improved his playcalling without the LaPoleash around him. The adjustments, both in-game and week-to-week, improved and he seems innovative enough to design plays around his players' abiltiies. Really looking forward to what he has to show after having a full offseason in charge of the offence.
  11. He seems like he's a guy that could transition well into the SAM spot up here but it will be interesting to see how he does in camp if that is indeed what they have planned for him. Got to like the fact they keep bringing in more competition at linebacker.
