Fajardo's level of play reminds me of Kevin Glenn. A mid teir, inconsistent, shows flashes of brilliance but otherwise disappointing player. Puts together enough good play to make you say "well, maybe..."

Could he have marched to a police station and filed a complaint on behalf of the player, who was an adult at the time. I guess he could have, but i don't know that he should be held to account for not doing that. I don't think I would talk out of school like that.

A crapshoot would imply its a matter of chance that your picks pan out and there is no way to slant the odds in your favor. A literal roll of the dice. It's just not true. The cfl draft presents some challenges that other leagues don't face, and bad luck can be a factor. But it's not the only factor.

I've always hated the "the draft is nothing but a crapshoot" line. Thats just an excuse for not doing your homework.

But how much rope do you give a guy who hasn't kicked in a meaningful game before coming here? This isn't a school for training future players. This is pro ball. This is supposed be results driven.
