Why would anybody want a 44 year old wr, who will be 45 later in the year, who hasn't played since 2011 in the Indoor Pro League and who did a TC in 2012?
I've read accounts and heard personal accounts from people taking the bus back then when it was open, that it could take 15 minutes for a bus to go from Eaton's (MTS Centre now) through the intersection. I call BS on Bellamy and his 10 seconds. Anybody looked into why this is such a pet project for Bellamy?
The club has done some good things I think to attract fans from having a no booze section in the end zone for those who don't drink/families, the half time bands, The Rum Hut, the standing room only section and flying in people from up north. Its finding more of these things.
A lot of pro leagues are dealing with attendance drops, not just the CFL. I do like many of the things the CFL has done such as bands at half time, the Rum Hut in the Peg or the variations in other locales. Not sure how you get fans to see it as a "real" league though.
Calgary since Huffer took over have been the standard. I would love for us to be like them and yes that does mean making the cup 5 times in 10 years and only winning 2.
Hypothetically Fenner in at SAM and Mo out is a wash but would love to have both. Not excited at all about Gaitor. Don't see how Flanders sees the field.
I agree. I'm forgetting the analyst on ESPN radio who said it and this is roughly a year ago, going to say Danny Kannel, he questioned if Manziel can read a D.
The trick is make friends with somebody who lives within the restricted parking zone. They let you park on their driveway for free and you have an easy walk or bike ride in and then can get out fairly easy too.
They are but there is only one way into the Canada Packers site in St. Boniface and traffic would have been a nightmare. Not many ways into the Point Douglas site either and to be honest, I think some people would have been turned off by Point Douglas.
