Is it just me or does it feel quiet for a cut down day around these forums..

We’ve got some pretty interesting options on offence for Canadian talent now. Funny how one off season can change things. demski, + Harris and Lafrance Are a pretty dangerous group of Canadian guys

I went yesterday to the afternoon camp. Didn’t stay for too long, but have a few notes that I took down. take it for what it’s worth First thing I saw when they were warming up I saw Demski and Lafrance catching one handed passss. Lafrance caught every pass one handed and made it look machine like. Made me think that Lafrance might be capable of catching passes out of the backfield pretty well, kind of like Harris as a utility - jack of all trades- back. For all the talk about Corey Washington, sure noticed that he wasn’t tracking the ball too well and dropped a couple easy passes. Seemed to settle in later in the practice but I noticed him in a bad way. Regardless, pretty big and seems to a polished route runner. Tyler Henry made a nice catch in tight coverage. Looked fairly impressive for a Canadian option, was he in camp last year? Coney is FAST and pretty illusive. Tony Stevens was the most impressive of the bunch in my opinion. sam brown got burned bad a couple of times. thats all I noticed, sorry I don’t have more to contribute. Oh and p.s was nice to see #1 Darvin adams just being around the team. Wasn’t competing but was throwing passes to some of the receivers when they were running drills. Dude has a hell of an arm

I, for one, am super happy about this schedule. Nice to see the season start a couple weeks earlier. I did however like the Thursday games, owning a concession business I am working every single weekend of the summer. So I will not be attending any games in the summer this year

Yeah, whoever said that play was an “ordinary” hit either didn’t see the hit or is bat **** crazy. sorry but it’s true that hit was ruthless

Yah I’m sorry anybody who thinks he’s retiring is out of their minds. how many jobs do you make 450 k a year. I know we all like to think this is a majestic “ go out on top” thing, but it just doesn’t work like that. He’s not making millions of dollars . He keeps playing and I frankly can’t even believe that this is a conversation. Especially with trestman at the helms who can extend an old qbs career.

Why would Ray retire ? This isn’t the NFL where he is worth millions and millions of dollars. you keep that 400,000 paycheque comin as long as you can (speculating on the 400)

I don't know dude, it's been pretty bad. The highs have never been that high and the lows are as bad it gets. 75% of the teams make the playoffs in this league. I started watching when Jim Daley was the coach, but I know reinbold came before that. The only time I've seen competenence was with Doug berry and a fluke year with Lapo in 2011. I don't know if I've ever seen anything worse in sports than Burke/Mack. Oh I guess mike Kelly rivals that. 0-5 is still 0-5. All im saying is if you want to gain back the fair weather fans of the franchise (especially with the jets now being in town) you need to put a winning product on the field year in and year out

It's unfortunate but I certainly agree with what your saying. My uncle by marriage and his dad were season ticket holders for 20 years. The team flat out lost their support after years and years and years of bullshit. I am 25 years old and I have not been alive for a grey cup. That's borderline " worst pro franchise" in sports with a streak like that. I'm not ragging on the team or regime, just stating facts.

I think it's so interesting how so many of us ( us, yeah we're in this together) thought we had great quarterback depth this season and now suddenly one bad showing and we're calling for coaches heads.

Sorry to disappoint y'all. Not trying to spout false info either. Without giving anything away on who told me this I'm "100%" surprised. Must have been more serious than they first thought . "is darvins shoulder separated" "no he'll be good to go" was the extent of the conversation. Maybe good to go was for playoffs. Not sure but I apologize ill be over here in the corner, eating dirt...
