False. Whatever it takes never said "let's take our league and TRY (emphasis on try) to make it an NFL farm league. I get that the xfl is under new ownership and there's potential there. But I've spent my LIFE cheering on the blue bombers and rooting on the Canadian games success. If it were a sure bet I'd made concessions. But if I'm going to lose my life time of memories and culture to be more "american", well that's a hill I can die on. Noeller said it best, In the cfl our team is built on pros. Selling out our tradition for "the rock" to use his social media platform. No way. I love the CFL and quarks that come with it. It's not perfect but it's mine. Not willing to compromise 100 years of passion and dedication to build our own game just to sell out for money. I know we as Canadians and more importantly CFL fans have more pride than that. The day this becomes a 4 down league becomes the day i pick an NFL team. It's unique and special to us. Find another way or tap out

I still think this is a terrible idea all around. For reasons you all already know. I don't want to be an American league and I don't want to gamble on it working. Been a die hard since I was a little kid, I'd rather see the CFL die gracefully than have a bunch of Americans ruin it **** this idea

I think I will be... I have agreed to rent out the kitchen at the south gate bar too so hopefully will have some success there. It's very difficult to plan for because although events haven't officially canceled its hard to know what they would look like if they did happen. So absolutely no certainty on what to do. The shows are what I've built my business around and have spent several years building a viable show list. That and also the arena in Brandon with the carts. So no good summer work, and no winter work Also to respond to another quote above, you're right it isn't the manitoba govts fault. It's easy for me to be bitter and angry and sometimes it is misguided. Understand your guys concern and places like Texas with that many cases should be in lock down... But manitoba govt is about 6 months away from bankrupting me. Tough time to be in the carnival/food industry. I'm only 28. This **** is long lasting for some of us out here

Maybe for you sir, I was born in 1993. I began to watch the Bombers in 2004. LOL. Some good years. I watched 07 in Toronto as a gift from my Dad. And 2011 was okay... Doug berry years were respectable. Everything else...

Just to comment on the bombers being a premiere destination, We as fans, ******* deserve it. Went through a lot of **** the past 2 decades. Stuck by a truly awful franchise, in contention as one of the worst in pro sport

Well yeah, of course he's going to be a starter on our team. Highly doubt they would bring him in if they didn't believe that. I'm sure he will be good to go, but an Achilles tear is always worrisome. My "weirdness" came from one of the reporters suggesting Walter's didn't even reach out to let rempel know ... when Walter's himself said it was up to him decide. Sounds like there was no discussion at all and that seems strange

Just hope he's still got that burst. I know some guys are never the same after an Achilles tear. Consider me weirded out about the chad rempel situation. Something is off about that story.

Who was the guy that was supposed to be suiting up for QB? Sam something? That was always good for a laugh. This goes back to ob.com but Achilles, and hooties insights were welcomed given his obvious behind the scenes knowledge.
