My sources tell me Walker was all set to sign with the Bombers on Day 1 of free agency. The club actually flew him in to make the announcement. Apparently at the very last moment, he pulled Walters aside and revealed that after playing for a “sad ass, dysfunctional, unappreciated, go nowhere team like the Argos” he just doesn’t know if he wants to play anymore. Listening to his QB talking to all those voices in his head got him thinking that it’s time to listen to the little voice in his heart. Derel doesn’t love this game anymore. He’s tired of all the aches and pains he’s endured throughout his career. It’s time for Derel to do what he has always wanted to do. Follow his heart, his passion, his true life hero....Bob Ross. Walters told him to hold off On filling out retirement papers and take sometime to mull things over with his family and agent..... I am being told now from my sources that Derel has yet to even put on a pair of cleats these past couple weeks and is ready to trade in his helmet, pads, and gloves for an easel, set of acrylics, and scene of a fawn drinking from trickling meadow. Bomber fans were so close to having the juggernaut team in the cfl for 2020. They would have been a lock to be repeat Grey Cup winners, now they’ll have to actually compete this 2020 season. Saskatchewan hasn’t spent any money in free agency and just lost Roosevelt. I could see them spending top dollar to screw the Bombers

I loved it in Calgary. I thought they did a great job... having said that... I could have been in Portage La Prairie and wouldn’t have known for the most part. I have a good time everywhere

Hope the club isn’t considering trading Biggie so they can use his money to bring in Walker. That would be a huge a mistake.

I like the thought of this a lot! Bennie Thompson/Dave Bovell type of safety. Alexander can then move to DB. I do find it curious because weren’t the last two signings LBs as well?

Not much rumbling about who the Bombers are targeting besides their own free agents. I’m not expecting them to be very active(no real need to be), but I figure they’d have a couple targeted, which would might be out there

Where do you get tickets for all the different events? This will be my first Grey Cup away from Winnipeg. My son was selected to play in the Nissan Kickoff Project as Part of the All-Canadian Titan Team. They play on Saturday at noon at Hellard Field. My buddy and my self are on our own Thursday night to Monday as the kid flies out and is with the team the whole time. What are some must does out there (hopefully we aren’t already too late for all the parties)?

I wish we knew if Jefferson would be back or not next year . I would like to get a new Bomber Jersey for when when I go to Calgary to watch the Cup. No real safe bets outside of Harris. Hell the club may have a totally different QB stable next season. I suppose a lot is going to depend on where O’Shea goes(Toronto) and who follows him.
