  1. Lol I see there's still some hurt feelings around here.
  2. That's not true at all. There were plenty of people, especially in the media that had the bombers finishing anywhere from 3rd to 5th in the west. I don't think anyone had us finishing 1st. Nevermind dominating the entire year. Oline losses was going to be another issue, especially with no back up qb.
  3. I agree with you on this. Though there can be no denying the nazi flags being there. However I have yet to hear or see anyone taking action on those things. I can understand that it may have happened, but the fact that it wasn't a major part of their message (as in, make sure everyone, protestors or not, know that Nazi symbols etc are not welcome and will be met with aggression at the very least) is troubling to me.
  4. This is something I say all the time too. I've come across people who say "I got Covid, it was no big deal I was over it in a week etc Why are we acting scared?" But then they won't get the shot because of the potential of side effects. So when I say "I got the shot, my arm hurt for a bit and it felt like the flu for a day, it was no big deal. Why are we acting scared of it?" They tend to not agree with that stance.
  5. 1) I've heard this lots. Like it has some kind of meaning. Yes people do get it and recover just fine. But that just isn't the case for everyone. Not sure why one matters more than the other. 2) I agree that there arent a lot of truckers that are a part of this. Nazi's too, though 1 nazi is too many for me and they should be violently silenced afaic. However there does seem to be a minority of white supremist a part of this. Pat King is calling for today to be "Orange shirt day". We all know Sept 30th is also called that, for a specific reason. Trying to co-opt that movement is a **** head thing to do and again should be met with violence afaic. 3) I'm not sure I've seen anyone advocate for people to not work and just stay at home and do nothing. 4) Who do you think believes this? 5) This can be said for 1 side. But I don't think it applies to the side you think it does. 6) The only answer out of this that will work is increased taxes or leaving the increased taxes to our children. Private won't work at all. And increasing our spending on infrastructure should have started 20 years before Covid. We are too far behind now, which is why every government won't do what's needed, because the taxes would be increased significantly, basically ending their hope of winning an election. On top of that, how many of these protestors do you think would support driving up taxes (not 1 or 2% like 5 or 10%) to get us out of this? 7) You have no way of proving this.
  6. Guys, I've already ended this topic. It's Bryant. end of story. done. over. go buy one. now. stop typing a reply get your CC out.
  7. We got guys like this on the team, and people are talking about signing Speedy *****? No thanks
  8. I would be ok with this. I don't support the mask wearing outdoors though, that seems unnecessary.
  9. We have a legend on the team. Bryant. Done. Thank me later.
  10. Again I don't understand your point. No one was talking about stuff, no one knew about....they are talking about it now, because they know about it. And that makes them riderfans? Rider fans are known for dumping on former players and down playing their role on winning teams. Who has done that here?
  11. Kinda off topic but not really. Today exactly 7 years ago was one of the greatest signings in Blue Bomber History. Mr. Bryant joined the Bombers!
  12. What is so offensive about what's being discussed here though? who has said anything disparaging against Harris? Outside of things Harris has said himself anyways. Are we not allowed to discuss the fact he said he wasn't in shape/focused etc last year? Do you think that's shitting on a player? One person has said something that wasn't in the article. Everyone else has been discussing what was said. No one has down played his role on this team or the impact his legacy will leave. I don't know why some (well 2 posters) have a problem with this?
  13. You say "they". But as far as I can see that was 1 person.
  14. He wants to prove to everyone else he still has it. But isn't that exactly what the Bombers wanted? For him to prove it via a work out? There's only 1 reason he wouldn't want to do that. Good luck to him, I hold no ill will at all. He's an all time great and it sucks his time with the Bombers ended this way. But I feel like the Bombers made the right call even more now. I was waiting for someone to say this. That's just kinda what happens with emotions. But I also don't think anyone is dumping on him. Just speaking truth to what the situation is(according to the article anyway).
  15. Honestly I'm surprised he wouldn't want to show them he's in shape/capable etc. Why wouldn't he? There's really only 1 answer that makes sense.
  16. I saw that but didn't think it was sour grapes. Just motivating himself
  17. They also used Briggs and Gauthier pretty often on Defense during the 2nd half of the year. So there are options to help fill the CND void left by Kongbo.
  18. I'm not saying Oliviera is as good as Harris. I just think it's insane to suggest that a rookie should be as good as an all time great and that you should ride a 35yr old RB until the wheels come completely off. You know there are more factors in play to down field passing than just the RB ability to block as well and like I said he was likely to see things that he hadn't in the past. It's not surprising/it's common sense that they didn't leave him out there to dry and get a qb killed. Yes you build to win now...that's the goal. That doesn't mean never moving on when you have a viable/cheaper/younger backup. I'm fairly confident Walters and crew know what they're doing.
  19. I don't understand the Oliviera can't block narrative. He picks up blitzes just fine. People need to remember Oliviera was a rookie last year, not officially, but he was. Of course he was going to see things that were completely new to him. That doesn't mean he can't block lol. He also had the same amount of 100 yrd games as Harris did.
  20. Good for Harris. TO is a great spot for him. Isn't that Foster kid a Canadian as well? I can see Harris doing pretty well there, though I think it will be in the pass game more than the run. Good luck to him, except in week 4. The Game that really shifted the Bombers Fortune was that great come back against MTL. Harris' will to get into that endzone will always be something I remember. That win really kick started the franchise to get to where it is now. He's a legend in my eyes for that game alone. Hope we are able to honour him sooner than later.
  21. I'd honestly rather go with a straight up rookie instead of Harris. That guy just bothers me lol. I don't know why, he obviously produces (yards) and knows the game...but he's just weird man.
  22. Sayles is very good. Stove is as well. I'm not sure if it's a wash completely, cause Stove just seems to get after the ball carrier. I'm the most optimistic about that spot having no noticeable change in production.
  23. Castillo rumoured to be heading further West....think it was Edmonton if I'm not mistaken.
