The biggest factor imo is the guaranteed money. I don't care how much it's for as long as there is basically zero guarantees behind it.

They were 2-6 last year. 4-4 isn't the worst. Lots of work to do, but they haven't played their best ball yet. You're all living in CFL Fantasy football land if think Collaros is going anywhere at this point in the season. I swear most of you forget who is running this team even while complaining about them. I'd bet 5 years salary Collaros is a Blue Bomber on Dec 1st. All this talk about his contract next year, but anyone have any actual numbers on it? Any kind of guaranteed money? I know these questions don't fit the "His contract is too big narrative" but I've yet to hear what his extension was for.

The game wasnt pretty, but before he left the 2nd game it was close. Im expecting a better defensive performance hoping they can keep it close.

I was speaking of presnap awareness of who that play is going to and how the QBs have played not only through that game but previous ones as well. Hogan knew that was drawn up to go after our shortest WR and that Strev wasn't playing well that game and had previously made poor choices when throwing in the redzone. That should have all added up to, keep it on the ground and lets hope we score that way if not...we still make it a 2 score game with a lot less time on the clock. It was a bad play call with bad execution.

exactly. Hogan needs to recognize that pre snap as well. The play should never have been called because it was a completely unnecessary call. At best you score and give them the ball back with plenty of time to pull off a come back. At worst...well.

100% you can. Play calls should absolutely take match ups into consideration so the execution is more likely than not. Our shortest WR going for what should have been a back of the endzone catch against a corner who had what 4 or 5 inches on him is a bad match up. The execution was also poor. Hindsight is what it is...but in that situation even if you ignore the clock and the score...to also ignore the way your QB has been playing as well as the previous turnovers (vs CGY) in the redzone it just makes the call even worse.

That was primarily because he was the only QB to play in all the games and dipshit WPG media soured on Andrew Harris. Fajardos stats weren't MOP worthy.

How did you come to this conclusion based off Wilsons play? And what about Artopoeous gives you hope, based off his play? I remember when plenty of people said Brown was complete trash and wasn't a CFL qb. And that was actually based off him starting and playing in a regular season game.

It happened at Home against CGY too. Inside the ten (I believe, at the very least it was in the redzone), instead of giving it to Brady, they put it in the hands of Strev who then misplaces a ball that is picked off and the game was essentially over. So there was already a reason to maybe not do that (let Strev throw in that situation) and he did it anyway and almost gave the game away. Sure, Streveler underthrew it. But acting like it was a needed "kill shot" is just odd. Hogan, we can do simple math. This isn't SSK.

Add me to the list of people losing faith in Strev. Hogans play calling didnt help. Especially with how he utilized Brady. If I have to watch that pos read option play one more time im going to lose my mind. Bonds is a serviceable field side corner. He isnt your main guy though. I dunno, you can tell hes been coached to let anything near the ten go. Or hes been chasing punts across the field. Shakey hands is fair. But that's bound to happen when you're attacking the ball like he does. He runs hard and isnt worried about dancing.

I think we all might just be getting used to it. On my drive to work I could clearly see the smoke in the distance. But I couldn't smell it at all. At the start of the fires it was like I could taste the smoke it was so pungent.

I hope you're right. The forecast is often wrong when it gets past 6 hrs or it seems. I'm just being pessimistic.
