I'm excited to see what Streveler can do with a week of practice with the starting O. Troy brought up something after the game last night, saying that because of his running style it's just a matter of time before he gets hurt...qbs cant run like that...etc etc....but Streveler isnt your typical running Qb. Hes bigger then some (maybe even most?) Lbs and can out run them too. I'm not saying he won't get hurt, but Troy was making it sound like he wouldnt be able to take the punishment which I think is untrue. Guy is a beast.

After the Argo game I can't be confident in this week. Especially with the way BC played last week. I'm expecting a close game. Gotta keep the explosive plays to a minimum on Defense. And a maximum on Offense. GO BLUE!!!

I wouldn't necessarily deny this. The device he wears restricts blood flow. A very small amount by their claim. But still. Blood flow being restricted has to have some kind of affect on the body youd think. Maybe his reaction isnt as fast?? I dont know.. seems plausible at the very least.

I think he could play. Lower body injury leaves a lot of options on the table. The secrecy is because he's not actually hurt and they just can't find a spot for him and the younger guys. Totally my conspiracy theory.

You have to take into consideration the competition he is up against as well. Gregg Carr lit that league up after leaving the CFL too.

Exactly. Why are people so surprised by this? Harris has been the work horse for the Bombers since his arrival. "Stop Harris and you stop the Bombers " yeah well, you cant. So keep trying. "I'd be concerned with his work load" I'd be more concerned for the Defense he will be facing next. Could they use more diversity? Sure, and we've seen it this year. But theres something to be said for using what the defense gives you.

Then you should immediately stop watching this team. They dont play people just because hes the highest paid. They play people based on situations. Last night, they needed the clock to run. In football, you do that by running. With Streveler out, hes another running back. To add to another posters comment, left Nichols in for the entire game, but pulled him for the last drive due to performance issues, only to let him back in to kneel down...? That makes sense to you? Qbs who are pulled, aren't let back in the game to do the victory formation. That just doesnt happen. It really isnt hard to understand.

Right now the bombers are favorites. You cant win championships in August. All you can be is competitive. This team is. 1st half of the season, they've got at least 6 games won. That's a great set up for when the games really start to matter.
