I used to think along these lines as well. However there is very, very clear evidence that shutting down economies also leads to unnecessary death. I'm in no way saying Swedens plan would work here or was better then shutting down, BUT to say it's the economy over lives, is false. You're gonna lose people either way.

Yup, I've been saying this for years. Ticket costs are too much for the average family. And it's very likely that they will continue to rise. They're pricing themselves out of their own market. I understand why, but it doesn't change that it's a dangerous way to operate. And that doesn't even include the GC tickets.

I'm surprised I haven't seen any mention of the new football game. Maximum Football 2020. Finally a game with CFL rules and field size. I've heard it's pretty weak in regards to graphics and actual game play. But hey...it's something. I haven't picked up a copy as the price tag is too high, but I do plan on getting it eventually.

problem is, we think he's doing something wrong. which he is, he's a con man. But is he doing anything illegal? I'd bet he's had plenty of lawyers go over things and he knows the risks. I'm sure there is plenty of illegal activity going on, but most will be/could be solved with a good lawyer and $$. Asking the system that allows him to do these things to turn around and punish him is Stockholm syndrome at its finest. But hey, sure they'll find something so that we all feel better and he'll go on with his life as he always had, except now he'll get free lifetime security and a presidential pension. political process...society in general...

KCs new running back made me go "oh...OH damn!" on his TD run. That was a thing of beauty. Hard to believe that O got better, but if they continue to run the ball that well they will be very hard to beat. I think my 1st memory related to the bombers would be lining up at a Taco bell (I think) to get an autograph from Matt Dunigan. I was very excited to meet him, but when it was my turn in line I froze. I don't think I said a single word to the man. But I got him to sign a poster and a hat. I still have that hat...though it doesn't fit anymore. And the autograph is basically worn away (I wore it with pride as a kid). I can't remember what my first "bomber game" memory is. But other things that stick out would be racing my brother down the ramps at the old stadium after the game. Just running around the stadium alone during the game when I got bored. Watching the mascots beat up on each other and the amazing entrances from Buzz and Boomer. As a kid those things really made the difference between me being bored at home games and able to have a good time. I do remember asking my dad if we were going to a bomber game one Sunday afternoon and him being pretty surprised cause he didn't think I'd want to go. It was during the Reinbold era and well we all know how those teams were. I remember it was against Calgary (Who I hated) and I knew there was a good chance they were going to lose...but maybe just maybe they'd win. So I wanted to be there just in case. Win or lose though I Just wanted to be in that atmosphere. I also remember having the ONE AND ONLY time a stuffed football toy was launched to the upper deck right at me (a kid at the time) I put my hands up to catch it and the motherfucker (an adult) in front of me reached up and caught it before I got a chance. That was the closest I ever got to catching one of those at a game and I was crushed!! Those sling shots could really launch those things. I also remember fights breaking out between fans in the upper deck. Making fun of the west side and leaving games with sore hands from banging on the back of the benches. Man I miss that place. And how could I forget the Happy Honker! As a kid I loved that part of the post game!

I know Collaros is gonna start, but I really think Streveler will play a big roll. I can see him breaking a long run for a touchdown against that Dline....just a hunch
