  1. Nichols will need to win a gc to restore my confidence. I called a Streveler take over around this time of the year during the off season. But after their start didnt think it would happen. It needs to
  2. Its not the calls, it's the overall strategy. Protect the ball no matter what. Never take the chances. Are you telling me you've never seen a game like this from a Lapo led offense? It's his calling card. Nichols didnt help. But Lapo is who he is. Nichols just makes it even worse.
  3. This game was not one or the other. It was both.
  4. I agree. But he had at least 2 drops. Good/leading receivers get open. And nichols needs to force it to him as well. Let the big man go get it.
  5. Decades of evidence suggest otherwise. This is not new with Lapo. Though I'm not getting Nichols off the hook either.
  6. That's legitimately all he did. Was a decent play but nothing special. Matthew's wants to be a game changer, he better step up....he can go watch Walkers film for a lesson.
  7. I agree. But that's Lapo with a lead. Just ******* gives up.
  8. FTFY...the 1st half had every O player that could touch the ball, touch the ball. 2nd half they folded.
  9. Speed, high point/body control/attacking the ball/pure size. We have the rec cor to go down field. ******* force it!!! Nichols was ****. Lapo was ****, though at least he actually stayed with the one part of the O that is working. Speaking of Harris, ball security is now an issue. Matthews was ****. Lucky was **** Bighill needs to ******* show up I saw this coming today, but giving up a 20 point lead is hard to watch. These guys better stop believing the hype. 5-5 can come real quick.
  10. You don't find out if you're the best by playing the worst.
  11. It's mostly because regardless of facts or others consistently proving you wrong, you hold on to those opinions. Maybe a better term would be stubborn.
  12. I believe the MR and BLM contracts won't be the norm going forward for QBs. CGY has been able to make a go of it so far, we will see what happens come the 2nd half. And BC is struggling mostly due to MR contract (my opinion anyway).
  13. Agreed, Argos have some talent on both sides of the ball. Just haven't been able to put it together at all...that and their coaches have been total dipshits the entire year.
  14. Should also be noted, that Nichols did that exact thing last year vs CGY....so they are basically just wrong. He hasn't done it this year, but he only needed to once (Even though the run game was working it was just ignored for some odd reason) but had a few of his big time receivers out due to injury. So while I think you're just a troll Northernskunk, you're also horribly wrong in this case along with Burris and Stegall. This basically just comes down to people wanting Nichols to do something, just for shits and giggles. If there's no need, there's no need.
  15. I don't think this game goes the same way the last Argo game went. I see the Argos making a better game of it. Bombers win, maybe by only 1 or 2 scores though. I also don't buy into the "Bombers better win by 1000 or else!" narrative. That's for people who have never played the game.
  16. Agreed. Adams isn't built for the slot. He has a hard enough time staying healthy playing WR. Would love to see what Woli could do closer to the ball.
  17. Anyone wanna copy the article? I don't wanna subscribe. lol
  18. I'll watch the NFL, but I don't follow it too closely. Fills the need for football when the CFL is done. I've been a cowboys fan for as long as I can remember. Started back in the early 90's...no not because they were the team to beat back then, as I wasn't old enough to really understand that. My Grandma bought two hats while in the states, my brother got one. I got the other...just so happened to be a Cowboys hat.
  19. But wasn't Collaros the answer? Remember Rods claim of an 18-0 season if they signed him? lol Also someone needs to seriously tell this guy to hang em up. He just went from one suspect Oline to a team with a absolutely horrible Oline....he won't finish the year.
  20. Yes the reciever did what he was supposed to do. I'm not arguing that. People are saying that was a well thrown ball, I dont think it was. I'd be willing to bet that Nichols doesnt either. I'm not saying every ball needs to be perfect. I'm not saying Nichols sucks because of that ball. I'm not saying demski should have done more. Im only saying, that ball was under thrown, hence not a well thrown ball. People can keep arguing but the proof is in the pudding. For an example of what I think a well thrown, or even perfectly thrown ball is....see Demskis two other deep TD passes from earlier this year.
  21. My point is, he only hit his shoulder because Demski essentially laid down on his back. The ball was very much under thrown.
  22. No, if it was even a remotely well thrown ball, Demski would not have had to basically stop and lay backwards in order to even have a shot at it. He had a step on the coverage and the ball should have hit him in stride. I'm not saying he shouldn't have caught it, cause he had a shot. But I don't consider that ball to be well thrown at all.
  23. I'm not sure I'd call that pass "perfect". Catchable, maybe...but certainly not perfect.
