I'm really curious on how Saskatchewan can afford going after so many guys with big contracts? I'd assume Adarius Bowman still carries a hefty price tag ... how can they afford to get them all?

When different commentators on different games comment specifically on Wheeler being gassed... this is an issue.

The one goal of Petan doesn't off set the fact that he was pushed around easily and he ended up taking two crap penalties. Lemieux also took a braindead penalty and didn't help his case. Dano did miss by a few inches twice, had they went in the score would of been a much better representation of how the game went (well at least for the first 2 periods). I don't see any role for Petan on this club... trade him while you can still get something of value.

Refs prematurely called icing a few times on the Jets tonight.... I thought Chiarot and Kulikov were really good tonight. Petan is way to small to do any real damage in the NHL, took two bad penalties because of it. Dano had 2 shots that if they were only an inch closer they would of went in... snake bit. Wheeler looked gassed again... needs less minutes.

On the radio the experts made it seem like Trouba could get 7 million easily and that he was looking for 8 million....

I can verify that when I used to play NHL '95 on my Super Nintendo that I was easily able to interchange defense to play on either side and was also able to transition guys like Mario Lemieux to LW with no issues at all. 100% doable!

Usually in Brazil the mismatches are the opposite where the local guy gets a cupcake fight against a much lesser opponent.

I thought Timberlake was good, the set pieces though was dull and this will be a forgettable half time show. Watching the first half... Eagles receivers and rbs are really laying it all out on the field. Win/Lose they definitely put in a full effort.

Ugh Hughes in Saskatchewan makes me dread listening to Suitor this season. Over the last many years the guy can not stop babbling about Hughes non stop whenever Calgary played.... this will only amplify the level of annoying so much greater.

As per the Duron Carter why they would charge him, I can't speak for this particular incident. Sometimes people can be unruly and very disrespectful to the police and at that point they will find anything to charge the jerk off merely to teach them a lesson. For example if the police pull you over for a routine car check and you are nice and co-operate they will most likely let you go. If you are a complete ass hat to them and act like you are king ****.... more then likely you will be getting a no seat belt ticket and whatever else they can find.

Westwood was making mention that Buff was on the ice for over 2 minutes in OT, the other D men had less then a minute each and Buff was back out on the ice completely gassed at the end. I do find the usage of Buff and Wheeler in OT as strange as they both always seem to be absolutely gassed.

We made the mistake of going to Circus Circus as our hotel (cheaping out) and walking every day down the strip.

Word of advice... bring good walking shoes. First time I made the mistake of thinking that walking down the strip wouldn't be that long... each casino is massive and my feet were definitely sore.

I think on both of our trips to Vegas we only sat gambling at a casino for maybe 5% of the time. The Cirque shows and all the other attractions were much more interesting for us.

I go to the Chipotle's in St Cloud (usually on the way back from Albertville), it's good and I would say very comparable to Burrito Del Rio here in town.... One restaurant that I used to go down in Albertville that was awesome but is slowly declining was Space Aliens. They have really good BBQ and Pizzas, the Cuban pizza with pickles and mustard and meat is surprisingly really tasty.

I've heard great things about Mangos.. I was choked that when we went last summer to try it out for our first time... the place was rented out for a private party. Did you (or anyone else on these boards) have good experiences with Mangos?

More then $6500.... looking at low 5 digits. You could make money promoting MMA shows, but with all the effort and risk it's not worth it. An ideal situation would be a smaller venue with good sightlines and profit sharing on the concessions. Somewhere that you could sell some tables at a higher cost to local businesses and reserves and so that any ticket sales in the stand would just be gravy in the pocket. As hokey as WFX was, the venue was almost big enough to put on good quality events.
