Based on what?

So what is stopping teams from signing a guy for a low salary, only for a local business to instantly hire the player as a spokesperson and pay him an extra big chunk of change during the off season?

ECW had a nice audience back when it was on the country channel (TNN). If AEW could get that kind of audience then that isn't a bad thing to start off with. When I watched ECW it didn't need to have roided up monsters like Hogan and Warrior. My favorite matches were ones that involved RVD, Jerry Lynn, 2 Cold Scorpio and Sabu. None of those guys are massive but they could put on great matches. I'd imagine they can get the 18 - 45 male audience by providing an edgier product. I don't think it need to go full blown ECW with staple guns and barbed wire ropes. It wouldn't hurt though if they had more storylines similar to Raven / Tommy Dreamer and if they didn't have cartoon character personalities like WWE.

I'd rather the new qbs get more of a chance to make the team. I'm pretty sure it's already set in stone that the 3 guys last year will be back with the same job this season.

Bennett is our lethal weapon on special teams!

KFC is god awful, I think it's also a rule that all KFC/Taco Bells have to be poorly renovated and rarely cleaned. I tried Popeyes a month after it opened and tried the "spicy" chicken sandwich. I'm not a spice snob but it had nearly zero heat to it. The chicken tasted exactly like the chicken fingers you can get at Chester Fried Chicken or your local 7-11. My co workers had various different items and nobody said that they wanted to try it again. The best fried chicken I've had was surprisingly at the Viscount Gort buffet. Super crispy coating and the chicken was tasty and not dry at all. Bigg Jay - Yes buffet is massive and has a lot of options. More options then buffet square does out in the Maples. However myself and two other people I know have each had food poisoning at different times when going there. The food tasted good (for what it is) but the track record has been poor and I'd avoid. Mongos is a much safer bet …. I've gone to Mongos probably 100 times and never have been sick once.

Hopefully not fight network if that even is still a thing.... Regardless I'd assume each episode would be live streamed online....

New Popeyes rumoured to open up at Henderson and Chief Peguis near Boston Pizza. I tried Popeyes on Kenaston and found it extremely mediocre. On par with KFC which isn't saying much at all. In unrelated news I saw a Facebook post that had someone with a picture of maggots in their food at Yes buffet from this past weekend. Yikes!

What's the reach of TNT Drama ? Comparable to Spike TV?
-
I think his value is worth that kind of money. The team more then likely will be struggling big time on offense and they could use all the help that they could get in getting those extra yards on the punt.

I'm not disagreeing in things being banned, but if they can ban a flag could we not also then ban burqa's or other non Canadian ways of belief?
-
Freedom of expression, I'm not saying it's right by any means at all. I've seen a house in Elmwood which I can't remember exactly what it says but something to do with Jesus in big bold letters. Some folks may find this offensive so should this person also be forced to take down the words? While I don't think their is any reason to have a Nazi flag at all, it's a slippery slope where in a country like Canada where everyone is free to have their own beliefs. If you start banning peoples beliefs where does it stop?
-
On that same note do we then ban the guys in town with the Dukes of Hazard car that has the confederate flag on it? I'm pretty sure in Canada and the States you have the right to express yourself. Where you can ding people would be if they are trying to incite a riot or commit the act of a hate crime.
-
I'm not condoning it by any means but having a Nazi flag is considered a hate crime? I'd assume he's safe because of free speech. I think a guy in North End drives around with a nazi flag and it's been in the news and he hasn't had anything charged against him.

Tom Magee was brutal, I remember watching one of his matches in Japan and the crowd was laughing at him. Unheard of from a Japanese audience back in those days. I think he was in a few movies and the last time he was in the news was because he was mobbed and beaten up and he looked absolutely terrible. The guy also had a striking resemblance to Kenny Omega looks wise...

That vid makes Elliott look like a superstar!

He's good but not worth breaking the bank to get. The Blue should have enough money for him if they want to go after him.

I'm excited that Matthews is back as Adams is definitely a streaky guy. My only concern is Nicholls playing like he did last season and only going deep once a game....
-
I doubt that aluminum is done. It's a great pick up for the riders. They will need all the help they can get for this season.

I'm not sure about the over rated as a wrestler part. I listened to many interviews where nearly every guy said Ric Flair could put on a great match with a mop. He is insanely highly respected as a wrestling talent with his peers.

I was young but I completely remember Tee Martin throwing a perfect bomb down the field and Kamau beating the coverage only for him to drop the ball despite it floating beautifully in his hands. Tee Martin looked good, his receivers were absolutely atrocious.

If we are comparing both guys both when they were healthy... Ricky Ray wins hands down. If we are judging them over career achievements then it's a much closer debate. **** when Ricky Ray was on it was impossible... the guy dinked and dunked and had an obscenely high % of completions and a tonne of time of possession. Not that it's a complete fair comparison but look at Calvillo in his first few years compared to Ricky Ray coming out of nowhere and lighting it up.

Lol I could watch Flair promos for hours I love them!
-
Is it Lapo though?? This is what I really want to find out this season. Because it seemed like once Streveler went in the ball was distributed around everywhere and that Nichols really struggled at making quick reads and always did the drop off?
-
Well it's only my opinion but his time with the Hart Foundation his promos were very meh and it didn't help that Anvil literally only could do the maniacal laugh and scratching his beard. His best promos were after the split when he was going against guys like Perfect and they seemed better because so many promos during hat time were hard core cheese. His promos during his last years with WWE he was carried by guys like Austin , The Rock and Micheals. I personally don't like HBK but he was good on the mic and stirring up the fans. His time in WCW he was so massively coked out and post Owen he was a shell of himself. I barely remember any of his WCW stuff outside of being KO'd by Goldberg. His best promo was all his real life heat with Vince. I found Bret to have zero personality at all and very dry. His in ring work though was A+++ and it was his ability to put on a great match that told the best stories. Outside of him saying the best their is one liner I can't really remember anything at all about his promos aside from him calling Jerry Lawler a coward and saying words like dweeb and chicken. He wasn't memorable like Austin doing his 3:16 speech, Warrior telling Hogan about the pilot and the plane going into a nose dive or the millions of promos of the Rock insulting people.
