That makes no sense at all. Doesn't seem that complex a notion. If Nichols meets certain conditions (such as games dressed, games started, re-signing in the off season, or some other conditons) then EDM gets our 7th rounder. If he doesn't meet said conditions, EDM gets nothing at all. If EDM was in fact intending to drop him anyhow, then maybe getting something in return for him is still a better deal than assuredly getting nothing at all.

I think the next 9 games will have more to do with determining that.

If Bowman doesn't shine and gets nullified, it has to say something about Popp. If Bowman goes on a tear for the rest of the season, that says something about Higgins' judgement. Still unclear to me why he was sitting to begin with. Dude is a stud. It would be like us benching Westerman.

I'd give up a late rounder for Bowman. I would too. The guy has been a contributor his entire career and had his best season at the age of 31. Bowman would be a gift for a 5th rounder in my opinion.

I've always thought of Greaves as one of Mack's crowning jewels when you consider when he was drafted and the position he played prior to the draft. What really happened (if you don't mind sharing)?
