  1. Things are looking great for a 3peat
  2. I wouldn't say much better if the o line can't keep him upright. Fajardo has been good for that team because he can evade pressure
  3. Yup! I wish I could prove it somehow but there may be a couple people here that can vouch for me.
  4. My claim to fame lol
  5. Not rah rah like Rasheed Bailey but he has the same kind of drive.
  6. Let's get that CBA ironed out and get on the field!
  7. Does anyone know whether TC will be at IGF or on the practice field again?
  8. Impressive highlight video.
  9. Or at the very least we are going to be rotating them through a LOT.
  10. Patrice Rene signed today. We are stacked with Canadian DBs. We must be strongly looking at starting a Canadian at the safety or corner position.
  11. It's up to both to market the league. We draw well in comparison to other teams but why should the Bombers or the CFL be happy with the status quo? And winning certainly helps draw more gate revenue. That's just common sense.
  12. Truth of the matter is that there's a certain amount of people that love the Canadian game and will love the teams and the league no matter what. Theres an awful lot of people people that like to watch sports because of the social aspect. For that it's all about marketing and the CFL has done a piss poor job of it
  13. Did you forget about Prukop?
  14. Not sure how many would quit watching altogether. But on the other side of the coin I can't really see how 4 downs brings in more viewers. People who like the NFL and see the CFL as inferior are not going to start watching if it goes to 4 downs. They'll think it's not worth their time regardless. There's nothing wrong with the wide open Canadian game. Rule changes aren't going to make the CFL more popular.
  15. The only thing I'm worried about is losing Kongbo, Dejarlais and Eli and then Dobson going to the USFL. We have taken a hit on our Canadian depth.
  16. I thought about that but then we'd have to start two Canadians on defense. I'd rather continue to be dominant on the defensive side of the ball.
  17. Woli, Demski, Ellingson, Bailey, Saunders Or any one of the receiving prospects we've kept around. Looks good to me
  18. Bailey Ellingson Spencer Demski Woli would put us right up there with the best
  19. Meh. I don't think we have the salary cap to go big on an American place kicker. We'll have our kicking position figured out for when it matters 🙃
  20. Lmao. His agent sounds like he doesn't believe what he's saying about his client
  21. Not sure luck has anything to do with it. We had a need and we filled that need. Mourtada was kicking at a high clip right before we replaced him with Castillo. We brought Castillo in so we werent taking any chances. Were starting this year better than we did last year from the kicking standpoint and Im not worried that we will be able to sign a capable kicker if Mourtada doesn't pan out.
  22. I wouldn't worry about kicker. Last year we went with Legghio as the guy for both jobs. We ended the year with no concerns at kicker. kicker might be the easiest position to fill. Kicking in the CFL is more or less the same as other leagues.
  23. This is what I was thinking. We were dominant for the large majority of last year. This year won't be quite as easy. Im a firm believer that 2nd year CFL players take a huge leap from year 1. So some of the depth guys we've had that had some playing time last year could just be waiting to take that next step. Casey Sayles, Kelvin McKnight etc.
  24. Out of everyone we've lost so far I'd say the biggest hole has been the departure of Stove. Everywhere else I feel confident there won't be much of a dropoff
  25. Was kind of hoping Petermann would come back here
