Had to think about this for a bit but it really makes the most sense. We have enough DB depth with Griffin and Hallett. We would only have to start playing with the ratio on offense if Peterson gets hurt. Then we have the option of Chris Ike or Logan depending on how the game is going and we can put in Wallace, Eli or Corcaron to manage the ratio.

Full team effort tonight. All 3 sides of the ball. Vaval is lightning in a bottle. Wheatfall is turning into a star. On defense...well, did Holm get a pass thrown in his direction? Didn't notice him which is usually a good thing. We won without our starting QB and RB. Rourke completed some passes where we were in good position but just misplayed it a bit. Looked easily correctable. Would say the score flattered BC. Go Blue

Is there something about our schemes where we value a glut of DTs over having rotations at DE? Do we think we can just pull LBs down to the end position if need be?

Wasn't Weitz hurt? We only need to roster 1 Global player. We can roster 1 more in lieu of a Canadian. That being said I'm still surprised Munier-Bailey didn't make the active roster given our DE depth

Our QBs are set. Streveler is taking the lions share of the reps because he will be starting first game. Collaros takes reps because he isn't playing for weeks after. Wouldn't be surprised if Arto and Wilson get very limited reps or none at all. Like others have said, for some guys we know exactly what they bring and are being left home. Especially the guys on D. They don't need to get into a rhythm. Everyone else is getting more of a chance to put things on film

Agree that it would be tough to get Cooley on the roster when Brady is there. He brings a lot of the same stuff as Oliveira. Unless he can return I see him as our PR backup.

Beautiful day at the stadium. Chase A looked cool and calm. Pocket presence that Terry W just doesn't have. Can run the ball effectively. Kind of reminded me of Dru B. Maybe a bit faster but a weaker arm. Have to agree that Jonathan J and Michael A are the guys that popped at the LB position. Ayers looked physically elite on some plays. That's exciting. James V seems like a good pickup. With Devin A looking like he's taken another step, our Defensive L looks to be in a good spot. Cam A obviously looked great out there. Loved what he did after the interception as well. Overall I'm a bit worried about our offense. None of the receivers really popped to me (but tbh I missed almost the entire 1st Q...I don't want to talk about it). Game star....Quinton C. Fast, quick, slippery. Like trying to tackle a greased up hog. That's supposed to be a compliment. We better keep him around.
