We had the bye week to "coach up" Marve and put in a game plan to play to his strengths and take some of the pressure off him. Epic fail. In my eyes, a fireable offense. But that is alright....perhaps Mike can simply give MB an extra hug....or give the next guy who screws up a firm asspatt. Accountability? MOS is going to end up killing himself with kindness. Bottom line is coaches and players simply have to perform - this continuing failure and incompetence, will end up at his door.......

BLM throws nice pass to start Stamps drive.... BLM throws bad pass in end zone for Bucknor INT... Bomber D line bringing some stunts, and pressure.... Marve has strong arm...but needs soft touch..... We spent all that money on the OL, this year - for what? Marve getting nervous in the service.... ..bailing out of the pocket on every opportunity.... ..whether he had to.....or not. Blue give up 2 sacks on 3 man rush and a max protection package..... Inexperienced QB...skeleton O playbook....real bad combination..... Roll outs, option plays, screens, pitches? Spread the field? ...like other teams are able to do..... ...even with their #2 and #3 QBs....... Bellefeuille did a nice job of putting in a game plan for Marve.. I also enjoy drinking Drano and sleeping on a bed of nails... 130 yds in Offense...in the CFL?...laughable... 16 penalties didn't help matters, either.. Bryant Turner had his best game in a while..... Westerman continues to be our best player on D..... LB Bass shows great effort and hustle.... But the D efforts completely hamstrung..... by this inept offense.... ...and two Marve INTs...that pretty well, gave Stamps 15 points... 8-3 Stamps at the half.... ...time to make adjustments at home and come out strong.. ...or get outscored 28-5.... Stamps run a great O game plan (DD) - all kinds of plays R Eric Rogers is big, smooth and deadly.... Johnson and Bucknor had some struggles at DB.... Bombers start 2nd half with Marve pick for 7... 15-3 Stamps....might as well been 150-3.... Another Calgary TD, 5 minutes later...started the ole rush to Rum Hut ...and ensured 20 minutes of garbage time.... Speaking of garbage....Brohm went in.... ....and proceeded to kill a number of prairie dogs, with pinpoint throws... ...obviously, in his 7th pro year...needs still more grooming..... Marshall is not a bad back....when we remember he plays on this team... You can still time some of the O developing plays, with a sundial..... IGF continues to stand for... Inept Group Function..... Bombers need to go back, watch the film and re-think... I need to go back check the bottle, and re-drink....

You start with the obvious.....get rid of Marcel. That "gameplan" for Marve, tonight was a complete joke....

Most physical team in the league.....they hit you in the mouth, for 60 minutes. Hamilton is also the best prepared team, in terms of getting out of the gate......

Montreal Fires Higgins, Popp to be Interim HC

Montreal: death, taxes and Popp..... -
Booch for OC! Also might make this OL more aggressive, going out and firing into people, instead of standing around in pass pro, with funny looks on their faces....

Have had rotator cuff problems, torn ligaments in my ankle, herniated discs in my back, and battled through cancer......but even now...my arm is just as weak as ever... Put me in coach! I get by on my wiles...

Last year, Willy got sacked like 60 times, and took a couple of hundred good hits - plus the abuse he took so far this year.......clock is ticking, when you are letting your QB get hammered like that.. -
Trouble is that most of those lowly backups, turn out to be one hit wonders.....
-
And gosh darn it, people dont like us! Just slap them around....and make them like it...

Well, listening to OB, it is real nice that O'Shea has converted himself into some sort of air raid shelter, for the coaches and players on this team. But, if MOS wants to do something useful, right now.....he can start by sticking his nose farther into our special teams work. The number of critical breakdowns, the last 2 years on ST is a joke. If Tracy actually can do the job - then he is doing a real job of keeping his blinding light, under a bushel basket. Also, benching a guy or two for non-performance may help improve some people's concentration levels, as well.

Brohm is just one of those guys who needs to make 10 or so good throws in a row to score a touchdown. You can get away with that when you're Ricky Ray or Kevin Glenn, but not when you're Brian Brohm. 10 or so good throws..........what are the odds on that?
-
Our team is simply not mean enough, tough enough, or coached up enough...... to run with Hamilton and Edmonton, yet
-
Marve isinexperienced, unpolished and needs to work on technique. That said, he has a arm, and a set of useful legs. Brohm has neither.
-
Foolish to start Marve...he is not ready. On the other hand, we have a guy with experience, who knows Marcel's system.....

Well, at least we attempted to upgrade the OL.......can't say the same for the coaching staff. Hope the people who rag on Willy, enjoy the new era....... -
Lost by 30.....tremendous moral victory.....3 or 4 more of those, and we should hold a parade.
-
Past time for MOS to get off the snide, and lay it down.....in terms of what some of his assistants are doing, and holding some players accountable for sub-par performance. Because in Star Trek parlance.....shields are dropping.

Not convinced that Hurl has the strength/speed that we need there, going forward. That said, watching Bucknor iso'd in man cover, makes me reach for my gin...
-
On an upbeat note: If nothing else, we rule in garbage time....

This is what I don't understand, and maybe it's because they're both not micromanagers, but when Burke was here, our D sucked, yet he didn't seem to do anything to help Creehan it seemed. Now our special teams suck and it seems like MOS isn't helping out Tracey. What gives? Could be "rookie coach" syndrome, overwhelmed with the scope of managing the project as a whole. ...and/or being lumbered down with some weak sisters (Marcel/Tracy) At least we are seeing some improvment/adjustments with Hall. MOS better start holding the reins tighter, because some of this stink is beginning to settle on him....

Watching Picard (Marcel) attempting to get the line calls straight, was like watch a duck, after it was hit over the head with the rubber hammer. We just looked so passive and confused up there. There is no rule that states you cannot at least rub or chip a guy on the way in. Even after Willy went out....had 2 plays where guys came in on Brohm, untouched....and on the Marve pick, he had backside pressure from a guy who (you guessed it) was untouched..... Edm/Ham make us look like puppies, out there....and it starts with this OC, who has nothing, when the other team amps up the pressure. Picard has been a massive dissapointment, so far, and Neufled took a major step back this week.
