Does a blow out at home Thursday get MOS fired?
Well, we like to speculate on what the "new coach" might do....to improve things. The deal is to hire someone, for once....who could actually do it. The other option is yet another recycled failed coach. This organization's track record does not breed a great deal of confidence.

Does a blow out at home Thursday get MOS fired?
At least we can always fall back on the ole "exhaustive search" ...and I can pour yet another..

Roster moves July 17
At least we finally have an experienced backup QB.....uh, never mind.

Does a blow out at home Thursday get MOS fired?
Hear what you are saying....but, playing out the string with a lame duck coach, (one more time) does has some drawbacks from the ole fan perspective...

July 21, 2016: Calgary @ Winnipeg
Can we not give up 450 yds passing this game?

It's a process...

Does a blow out at home Thursday get MOS fired?
We would do things by the book.....MOS might get his slip, when we are officially eliminated from playoffs, otherwise ...the end of season.

Penton: Walters Will Be GM Soon
So, the fans will supposedly overlook the meager results (yet again) so far.......tolerate some more of this losing in the short term, and then simply hang the hats on some sort of theoretical "run" based on 2nd half schedule. Pretty thin gruel.. which will not and should not satisfy anyone. In a drought, you need to quench the thirst....not gaze in the distance...at a mirage of an oasis. If we are sitting at 2-7, or 1-8 or something....the well of patience will be a pretty dry hole, indeed..

Odds and Sods - Game 4 Edmonton at Winnipeg
Some pressure on Reilly early...... That sure didn't last.... Fogg gets the corner, and nice cutback on punt return.. ....en route to a 90 TD....that was partially called back.. Willy then hits Kolhert up the middle for a TD... Bombers up 10-0, in the 2nd. ....pretty well the high point, tonight. First down production on O, really becoming a problem... Andrew Harris runs hard....but not a lot of holes, really.... ...not much of a downfield pass game, either... Bomber O employs gimmick plays... behind the LOS.... ....too bad, they don't really get back, past the LOS..... Pretty well every guy on our OL....took a holding penalty ....they had to....in order to keep up with our special teams holds Both teams had more flags...than UN headquarters.... Bombers D was playing bend don't break.... ....aided by some turnovers and red zone stops... ...although 500 yds of Esks offense...is a lot of bend.. Posey was a busy guy, with some tough matchups.... A. Bowman was a beast for Esks, out there... His 60 yd circus catch between 2 Blue defenders... ...kick started the Edmonton O. With Cory Watson and Walker.....big, physical group for them. Watson TD inched Esks closer - 13 -10 ....and Edmonton started to take over physically. Reilly had enough time to pick out his beverage...and drink it. O'Shea is getting better at the challenge/timeout thing. Overall, kick coverage pretty good.... The Challenge Thing is destroying the pace of games.. Bomber D forces couple of turnovers inside Esk 25 ....O does absolutely nothing with it... ...including a terrible INT by Willy into triple coverage... Esks kept moving the ball out of bad field position... ...2 drives of 70+ yds in 3rd quarter....and controling TOP White FG makes it 13-13...felt like - the end is near. Reilly finds Walker behind TJ Roberts for 75 yd TD ...now 20-16 for the Evil Empire Number of people who though Blue would come back. 0. Clock management: still not Bomber speciality... Bombers dinking....and dinking on O, right to the end. K. Bass did his thing... Ian Wild was pretty active..... The hitch pass is definately not a Bomber specility.... ....neither is downfield blocking... Willy still having major problems with timing.... ....to both Dressler and Smith...not getting enough, here. Tale of Two Quarterbacks: ...their guy looked poised and confident.... ....ours did not. ...their guy hit big throws down the field.... ....ours did not. Another night...where the Bombers have run dry.... .....but at least, I have not.

I am paitent.....while waiting for us to win more than 25% of our games at home...

GDT: Edmonton @ Winnipeg
Sure, you have to start somewhere. But, we are at the stage.... where the Bombers just have to start. Give us a win....and we'll deal with the "fallout" later.

We also cannot let Bowman catch a million balls in front of us, and then fail to make the tackle.....

GDT: Edmonton @ Winnipeg
Need to step back and understand the work in progress. Despite being this early in the season - we really need to win this game badly. A win tonight would give us: Actual winning streak Actual home win Put us right in the picture at 2-2 Provide momentum for the team and some hope for the long suffering fans..... How would they do it? How did they get it done? Who the hell cares? This team simply needs to learn how to win....anywhichway A loss would be just another ole step backwards....and sink the the team, and fan base back into the mire. We are all pretty tired of square one, at this stage.....

MOS The Man
No question, that MOS has many sterling qualities......a number of folks down east, gave me chapter and verse, on this....before Mike was hired. But the name of the game.... is winning football games. The record is the ole bottom line. He has certainly sheltered and protected these players, enough. Time for them to provide payback. Because at this point, both the fans, and this organization, desperately need victories... ....and so does Mike. Besides, is anyone really up for a Jim Daley The Man thread?

Week 3 (vs Ham...Now With Depth Chart)
Dumb front loaded contracts to declining vets, various import recruiting fails, and no #1 CDN draft pick for 7 straight years...... we are talking about the same GM, right? People are still pining for this guy? Good grief.
