do or die

You can sort of run that kind of D with a 4 man rush that crunches the pocket, regularly. We just don't have that.

We have a lot of problems and Drew Willy is only one of them.......

This team simply loses too many physical battles all over the field, on both sides of the ball. The other team pushes....and we get shoved. Add to that .....the mental aspect, where we just cannot make the key plays, at any point.......and the losing simply continues.

Yup so they wouldn't have to hold blocks as long. But Willy is more of a deep drop passer, in terms of style. Sort of square peg/round hole. But this also does not address our weak blocking at point of attack, lousy downfield blocking on the dinks, or lack of size in receiving corps.

Paying money for proven winners...... is not a Bomber specialty. Pseudo exhaustive searches resulting in recycled, buddy boy, in house, and cheap hires.....is. Then we wonder why we don't build a winner.....

Blah, blah blah....the placating talk implying that we are "on the verge" or whatever is simply not going to cut it, at this point. If this season is salvageable ....that "process" has to start right now. Until then, talk is cheap......

no shortage of suckers for punishment, anyways.....

....while the fans were voting with their feet (Rum Hut). Bombers should really consider putting a cover over that entire end zone and expanding the RH.

Waiting for some lemmings to suggest that Taman come back......

No way MOS gets the boot at 1-5....because if we change coaches during the season, we might lose football games....

Agree on Adams, has some talent but not sure about the headspace......

Sort of like seeing a bad movie run over and over again.....after a while you want to just change the channel... Doing O+S is the literary version of the Bataan Death March, these days....no matter how I frame it....

Just watching the way this team always crawls out of the gate......indicates a lack of jam.

The pity is that watching last nite......Walters draft this year is looking pretty good. The problem has been lack of followup in recruiting - no impact receiver, no stud import OL guy, among the other things we needed. This OL is still a far way from solved with Chung and Goossen still in the ole learning curve.....Neufeld looked terrible before he got hurt again or whatever - this guy is so overrated in some quarters it hurts....and of course no depth. Run blocking is atrocious either on 1st down or 2nd/3rd and short. Willy has taken too much punishment, and has turned into Captain Checkoff..... ...and our downfield blocking is inept, as well.

I have decided to not laugh at the Cleveland Browns, any more.....

Of course it was yet ANOTHER lame 1st half, which took the Blue (and fans) right out of the game....... The coach and the vets in the room are simply failing to have this team ready to play. Unacceptable.

Well, when WE tried that....we got Mike Kelly..

Yup, it's a process..

How are your cliches?

We need an exhaustive search to find someone to dazzle the BOD with proven skills in PowerPoint, Telestrator, and Whiteboard presentations.....and be put in charge of the whole shebang....

BLM has the same number of wins (5) at IGF as Willy..... gawd.

This D-Line......is just not getting it done - the DT's are a major disappointment

This team is double vanilla on both sides of the ball......

Medlock 47 yd FG on pretty good opening drive Dressler more involved in O, early... Randle forces fumble in Blue territory.... Dressler fumbles it back on next series... Bomber pressure package on D.... ...creating no pressure, on BLM..... McDaniel eluding man coverage His TD catch puts Stamps up 7-3 Throwing passes on 2nd down, short of marker... ....still a Bomber specialty.. Nice play calling on O, by Stamps.... ...they have good downfield blocking as well... while Bomber O going into a shell FG has Calgary up by 10-3.... Adams catches one more ....short of marker ....then D is offside....but Willy stuffed on 3rd and 1 A. Parker skips down sideline past Posey... ...this TD catch and run makes it 20-3... ..and the plebs in the stands....are getting restless.... Feels like garbage time already.... Need a big play, at this point...oops... Fogg drops gift INT... Willy sacked, then a dropped pass...another two and out.... Next series.....failed dump passes.... ...more grumbling from the sweaty patrons.... Now Randle and Macho out.....Jones and Morgan in... 108 total yds on Offense....5 yds rushing...at the half.... Some first downs and Medlock 40 yd FG .. to start 2nd half Posey now nicked and out...Loffler in ....real rookie secondary now.... Neufeld and Hardrick out ....Jake Thomas now at OL...... Patchwork on the patchwork...... Ian Wild giving his all....out there... Nice INT from Fogg..... Yet another 2nd down short dump pass... ....bringing down more boos.... Couple of big hits by Bass... Patchwork D hanging in there........ BLM having some accuracy problems... Actual deep ball to Adams..... ...sets up 37 yd Medlock FG....down by 10. Willy telegraphs hook throw against double coverage... ....Burnett intercepted for Stamps TD...fans rush to Rum Hut.... Nice KO return by McDuffie.... Nichols is in.....to general applause.... ...and throws 20 yd TD pass to Dressler.... Nichols to Dress for the 2 pointer..... Dressler having a productive game.... Harris written out of Blue offense, this half..... D. Adams has some yards....but still inconsistent... Typically, Stamps O put together clutch drive... Long toss to B. Grant sets the Stamps up.. ...for 5 yd TD... to cap 80 yd drive.... ...and that's all folks...33-18 New look DL just not getting it done...... Corney will start here, sooner than later.. Nichols flinging it around.....when he is not getting sacked Stamps taking penalties late... But Bombers turn it over on downs on Stamp 9 yd line Willy will take the heat.....for this lame offense... ...but Lapo should be taking some, as well.... This team simply does not make enough plays.... ...and allows the opposition to make too many..... ..one of the worst teams at home ever.... Good thing am one of the best gin drinkers, ever....
