  1. Unless that's exactly what the club wants him to be doing. It's not like he's a beat reporter who was assigned to cover the club anymore -those days are over for him.
  2. Just speculation on my part but adding him to the suspended list would be one way to get under the roster limit and lets the club use his spot to look at someone else. Just a paper move, IMO, since he's here with the club and just not practicing. https://3downnation.com/2023/05/17/winnipeg-blue-bombers-suspend-returner-janarion-grant-release-11/
  3. It's not a 100% guarantee they wouldn't get any info. Like the media was told about the QB they released so he could go home to take care of some personal stuff but was expected back. Grant was just placed on the suspended list today so we'll see if they give any info or not.
  4. If the ownership situation had been settled by then, I'd bet a lot of players (like Eugene Lewis) would have stuck around.
  5. While there is some merit to that, the lack of reporting isn't entirely due to not getting anything from MOS. You can see the media guys actively ignore practice and then have nothing to write about so they aren't doing themselves any favours.
  6. He was released earlier this week but it was reported he just had to go home to take care of something and was expected back. Lots of paper moves this time of year, hopefully Grant is one of those too.
  7. Not looking good for the Ice, giving up three goals in 45 seconds. Jets have to be liking how Lambert has been playing though.
  8. I caught the last little bit of camp yesterday and noticed him not participating in the drills. He was wearing a jersey (unlike the other guys who were sitting out) but he didn't have a helmet with him so I had been wondering if he got banged up.
  9. He'd have to prove his intelligence has increased over the past 18 months for me to want him here! 😂 https://3downnation.com/2021/11/05/patrick-levels-thinks-montreal-is-a-better-team-than-winnipeg/
  10. They scored 7 touchdowns off fumble recoveries and pick sixes alone, so that's where the big difference is (we only had 2). While I myself wouldn't say they struggled outside of Carey, they certainly didn't light it up through the air either. They finished with 144 points from passing plays (tied with Montreal for 4th place). That left them a whopping 120 points behind Winnipeg's 264 in that category.
  11. Checked out game two tonight. Seattle with the 4-2 win but it was a good game and another decent crowd. Brad Lambert looked pretty good and had a couple goals.
  12. Ice take game 1 tonight. Announced crowd of 5.5k, well up from their regular season average of 1.6k.
  13. Yep, these are my kind of games, the ones with the great stories. Haven't touched GOW (yet) but can vouch for the rest of em!
  14. We definitely don't have that many shows on the go but then my wife is often busy with other stuff and I can easily lose hours (days?) gaming... perks of being a dink! 😂
  15. OBG was signed to BC prior to 2021 but never came up to Canada, maybe a bit of a pattern for this guy?
  16. I fully encourage the entire Rider Nation to buy into all of that but man after reading those quotes...
