Jacquie proved you wrong with her link, unless you have some evidence to the contrary. -
The frequent use of omnibus bills (there have been 8 or 9 since 2011?) was probably my biggest issue with the Harper government, especially since he was so against them as a member of the opposition. I very much dislike huge bills that use, in his words, the "kitchen sink approach" to combine completely unrelated issues together.

Edmonton Oilers LOL (perhaps Calgary Flames LOL)

They were 15-0-2 against Detroit going back to 2009 so that was a good win for them. McDavid's game winner was beautiful & Yakupov looks so much better (and happier!) so far this season. 10 points in 3 games between the 2 of them now. -
Just being a good team player, trying to stay positive. I wouldn't have expected anything less from one of our guys, especially Vega.
-
At least they didn't stick a tramp stamp on those things, like they did to the Riders. That's about the only somewhat positive thing I can say about them.

2007. He was with Montreal in 2006. http://www.torontosun.com/2014/11/29/stampeders-assistant-gm-murphy-still-flying-under-the-radar -

In case anyone arguing with TUP hasn't figured this out yet... this will go on forever. This is his internet forum style, and has been for years. It's probably better for everyone involved to just agree to disagree and move on.

He was in Calgary in 2008, Winnipeg in 2009 & back to Calgary in 2010. -
Dr. Kellie Leitch (who was born in Winnipeg)? I saw her getting asked the leadership question (not sure which station) which she avoided.

I don't think they are getting anything from the team. Someone had an article last week (I can't remember who at this point) & they asked Miller about it. All Miller said was ticket sales were heading in the right direction.

I've got no problem with the quick looks. It's like a mini-camp or the free agent tryouts they put on. If they don't show something, you don't waste a spot or time on them & move on to the next guy.

Not really much spin. In the province the NDP number of seats didn't go down, but the conservatives did. What he is neglecting of course is the the cons went down because Manitobans wanted change and still do. That doesn't help the NDP nor hurt the provincial Cons. If anything it should bolster the provincial Liberals. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on who you ask) they are so disorganized that they likely won't be able to do anything about it. Actual con votes didn't drop a ton. If he thinks the liberal vote is somehow indicative of a turn away from provincial PC's he's kidding himself. But he knows. That's why its spin. He's sunk. And this result was bad for him. I don't think there was any possible result in that election that changes the fact that he's sunk. The only way the NDP stays in power provincially is if Pallister and the PC's have a huge implosion some how. It's their election to lose at this point and the popularity of the NDP is so low that Pallister could go around slapping babies and still win.

I was thinking that one too... might have have to leave early for an "appointment". lol

There's also his voiceover in the teasers. I haven't bought my tickets yet because my friends can't decide what show time they want to go to... they need to make up their minds quick or I'm going on my own! lol

Would progress for the Jets be not getting swept if they make the playoffs? PS, the Oilers don't consistently finish last, it's only happened once in the last 5 years. Not that I'm arguing they don't finish nearly last a lot lately... it's just not every year! -
Toet won the last election by a very small margin against Jim malloway so there was a good chance that he would have lost this time anyway. There was strategic voting as the Liberals were nonexistant in 2011 (they had 10% of the votes the ndp or cons did) but got enough to split the vote. I will say that if people had any idea of how far the Liberals would rise in this riding, then I think it goes red instead of orange. The liberals shot up about 10k votes this time around and that was using a candidate who had zero ties to the community. Things could be much different in future elections.

Blaikie pulls it out in the end. 51 vote difference so it will go to a recount.
-
Transcona is my riding and it's incredibly close. 1 vote separating the top two after 179 of 187 polls have reported. Huge turn out as well.
-
It's a complete collapse. Even Layton's widow couldn't win tonight. That should spell the end of Mulcair.
-
Some very interesting results in Winnipeg so far. Fletcher is in danger of losing his seat. Transcona/Elmwood is a tight 3 way race with 40 votes separating 1st and 3rd.
