Watched part of an XFL documentary on TSN about the first failed attempt to get that league off the ground. It looks gross. If we truly are going to be aligned with them I hope it looks nothing like the hype machine and amateur hour personalities surrounding that first attempt.

Can't tell if you were joking or not, but here is why I don't: everything else shutdown except school, and the numbers dropped.

They will lose the diehards in order to try to gain a segment of fans that will never settle for less than the NFL. This will never work. What?

Probably my pessimistic nature but I expect the opposite. A hesitancy from those that will take lessons learned from COVID and will want to avoid crowds in general going forward, the absence of going to movies/shows/sporting events causing people to say "I was fine without it, maybe I can save my money", etc.

The XFL saying their 2022 season is on hold pending the results of these talks means Ambrosie is full of ****.

And to add, who the **** cares what June Jones has to say about the CFL? Jesus.

What is actually happening here? Talk about becoming XFL north? Merging with a league that has been a giant failure every time it has been attempted? And prominent media types in Canada saying this is a good idea? What the actual ****? The second the Bombers become a 4-down partner to a garbage second tier American league is the second they stop being the team I grew to love my whole life. I would be 100% out.

Just saw this abomination on TSN. Harris was on the list, but it was him scoring some random TD as a BC Lion. Really? Not, oh, I dont know...winning MOP and Outstanding Canadian in the first Grey Cup win for his home province in 3 decades? I am irrationally angry about this...

What I thought was "am I willing to pay over and above what I am already paying for cable to have a CFL season?". Also the CFL is far from the only reason I pay for cable.

I guess? I mean, you get entertainment in return, so not really.

Not sure why there hasn't been a watch from home ticket drive. I would pay full season ticket price to have a season, personally. I cant be the only one. Im not talking pay per view either. I am talking sell "tickets", shares, whatever you want to call them we sell enough league wide, we have a season.

I would watch 1000 losing Reinbold seasons before I watched a repeat of that shameful Burke turtle game.

As much as I hate Lindsey Graham, this whole trend of "look at this picture of person X with person Y!" needs to stop. Something as simple as a selfie at a book signing can get taken completely out of context. Edit: I am not suggesting that is what happened here but pictures on their own are not enough...they need to be provided with context is all I am saying.
