  1. Like, right now? Or always?
  2. True but consider the circumstances. Would you prefer an even worse goalie for less money? Or sign an unproven guy like Raanta or Darling to a long term, big money deal and essentially give up on Hellebuyck? It's not an easy decision to make.
  3. Lol. No no I got that. But he's not still recovering from minor knee surgery in 2016. He got knee surgery in 2016, yes. Then after he was healed up sufficiently, he got hip surgery. Then he was healthy and suffered an unrelated lower body problem after 11 games in 2016-17, plus his family problems. He was mostly healthy by the end of 2017 and was starting to skate. So the fact that he's still "progressing" isn't really surprising. Of course, that's some pretty sketchy injury history and your point still stands about there being questions on D.
  4. Joe Burnett probably shouldn't be playing cornerback at this point.
  5. I think you might be getting a little mixed up when it comes to Myers' injury history.
  6. Meanwhile the guys we get rid of are off winning Stanley Cups with other teams
  7. Well I've never read the book but that doesn't mean I can't read!!
  8. Maurice.
  9. Yes but you have to hit 100 Likes in one day before the Dislike button appears.
  10. He must read this forum.
  11. @Mark F Never read the book but I really liked the movie.
  12. **** the rules! I'm Chris Jones *****!
  13. Other than their stance on gay marriage what other values are outdated?
  14. Say what now?
  15. That's exactly what I said!!! But I believe it constitutes a catch when he is able to plant and pivot and begin taking a step in the other direction.
  16. He did though. Just not after the pivot. He caught the ball, took a step backwards, pivoted on that foot, took half a step and got blown up.
  17. I'm just a worrier I guess. That's why my friends call me Whiskers.
  18. Looked like a catch and fumble to me. Caught it, turned and took a step. That's a catch and a fumble, IMO.
  19. Yeah probably. I just think you go out and find the six best defencemen and let them play. Overall talent level is more important than which side they play on. I honestly think if you threw Buff on the left side he would thrive there. A guy with a shot like his would absolutely crush it in the offensive zone on his off-side.
  20. I guess they saw Jake Thomas filling in on the OL one too many times and have decided to not let that happen again.
  21. I have some faith in Carmichael but two rookies on the field side does have me a little worried...
  22. Never said it doesn't matter. I said they make it work everywhere else which isn't a matter of opinion, it's fact. Of course guys prefer to play their correct side, I'm saying it's not as big a deal as we make it out to be here.
  23. So basically you trust them more because you agree with their bias. Look at it from the opposite side: "I'll trust more of what FOX says than CNN because it sets off Obama & his surrogates which tells me they're much more on point than CNN"
  24. Only in Winnipeg are we so fixated on guys having to play their correct side. Almost every other team has at least one guy in their top six playing their off-side.
