Maurice said they haven't ruled out Poolman as the 7th defenceman. I'll belive it when I see it but it's interesting for sure.

Thought Petan looked really good last night. He looks a lot more professional in his game. I think this is the year he takes a big step and becomes a real contributor to this team. He may even steal a spot in the top 9.

There are always like 40 players on the Moose. Besides our prospects you've also got the free agents we signed this year - Michael Sgarbossa, Buddy Robinson, and Cam Schilling. And then the Moose have their own guys on AHL deals. As a result the line combos are always changing and unpredictable. Think back to when we had Melchiori in the lineup the last two seasons. Now that's probably Poolman getting that call up. So even if he is not in the top 6 or 7 he is still upgrading the Jets through giving us better depth.

Why should we all be expected to just sit back and accept every decision that the CFL makes? We should question it. That's how change happens.
