I honestly think you've got just a few people pushing it (whether they believe it or not) and they are making money off it with websites, books, GoFundMe/Kickstarter, podcasts, and other media. Then there is a group of people who are ironically pushing the idea and generally just trolling. And then you have the useful idiots who just lap it up, buy books, donate to the "cause", visit flat earth sites daily and click Share on Facebook.

I believe the idea is that "Antarctica" is the edge and rather than being on the bottom of the sphere, it is a wall of ice that wraps around the outside of the disc.
-
LOL that got me too.
-
Ah yes. Probably much more difficult to flip over the ropes when they are basically at shoulder or head height.

Afraid he's going to reveal the truth? Who's paying you??
-
Huh?? Was there a battle royal at some point where this was a rule??
-
Maybe we can convert Bond to DL. He is like 350 pounds. One hell of a nose tackle.
-
Hey **** you man!!!
-
**** no. Wait for injuries. Let Roslo dominate the AHL and lead the Moose to a Calder Cup. No need to shake up the lineup and force him into the bottom six. It's not a coincidence that Perreault and Hendricks are playing well together, they spent 3 seasons together with Washington.
-
Pirri is constantly being benched, hurt, or traded. But he is a point-per-game player in the AHL.

Hey my post was silently edited by a mod. Lol. Anyways, that's a good point @Goalie. I have to agree, it is difficult to make a compelling women's program with only 6 women on each show. This should make it more interesting but is there enough screen time for all of them? Maybe we start to see more women's tag matches, etc.
-
Lol! 4 billion women in the world, many of them who would love to sleep with an NHL player, and he's gotta **** with his teammates' women?! Some people, man.

Old coaches fail too. You can go back a few years and look at some formerly successful, older coaches who were hired and it didn't work out. Charlie Taaffe in Hamilton, Don Matthews in his last stint in Toronto... Greg Marshall was 55 when he became head coach in Saskatchewan and that was a disaster. Jacques Chapdelaine is 56, Tom Higgins was 60 and both flamed out hard in Montreal. On the other hand you reference Dave Dickenson and point out one bad call, when overall he has had one of the most successful starts to a career for a head coach, ever. Lapolice went to the Grey Cup in his second year as an HC. Chamblin won it in his second year. Chris Jones won it in his second year at only 48 years old. I really don't think age has a whole lot to do with it.

3 more NXT women showed up on Smackdown last night. I think the women's royal rumble is basically a lock at this point.

Rebuild going on year 13 lol. Death, taxes, and the Oilers and Coyotes at the bottom of the league. Some things never change.
-
That's news to me. Apparently he plays for the Canucks. Fascinating.
-
I can't disagree. But I might still be a little jaded from Burmistrov... how many times did we hear the exact same thing about him? And it never materialized. But Armia is not Burmi and it doesn't hurt to give the guy a chance.
-
Perreault, yes, Armia... I don't know. I'm still not totally sure what to think of him. Does he bring more to the table than a Copp or Tanev? In the past I may have said yes, but I do like what Copp and Tanev are bringing to the table this season. Overall it is nice to have this kind of depth.
-
Yeah but... wouldn't it be great just to try it someday...?
-
I'll be cheering for the Argos because I like an underdog and I hate the Stampeders. I'm also happy for Trestman/Ray. Veteran coach with veteran QB. It's a great combo. We should try it sometime....
-
Cheap QBs and exploiting the six-game injured list
-
Wouldn't be surprised if Muamba is in the running for both MOC and MODP next season.
-
They're already basically 3A and 3B. Perreault - 13:00 Tanev - 13:38 Armia - 10:51 Copp - 11:25 Not much difference there last game. You've also got Copp/Tanev killing penalties while Perreault/Armia got power play time. Playing to the strengths of both sets of wingers. We haven't seen this kind of balance before in Winnipeg, but I like it. Of course, it's not really about Copp, Tanev, or Armia... it's about the fact that Perreault can play on any line and make the players around him better. He is really showing his value right now.
-
I don't think Bray would be great either, but he is "free" at the moment. Brock vs Jordan is an interesting prospect but yikes... he really does have to win some matches before then. Joe/Balor is a possibility. They can't stretch that feud out until the Rumble... no way. Outside chance..... KO/Sami Zayn walk out of Smackdown and head back to RAW? KO challenge for the title? I think that would be the best option.
-
I pretty much agree. They've already fed Strowman and Joe to Lesnar so I'm not sure where else they can really go. Styles is obviously the best choice but he is the champ on Smackdown so that doesn't work. Build up a Bray Wyatt-Lesnar feud to kill some time???
