Parise out for the playoffs with a broken sternum.

I can't see a reason why he would have been a pricey signing. It seems likely to me that we're going to hear about a new qb signing in near future.
-
Morrow couldn't have played that 2 on 1 goal much worse than he did. Didn't take away the pass or the shooter.
-
Fair enough. I have nothing against this gentleman. Think he ever ends up in wwe?

I'm a casual wrestling fan, and I wouldn't have any idea who Kenny Omega is if I didn't read this thread.

Just heard he died in the Humboldt bus crash. He was TBieber on this forum and ran cfldaily.ca.

UFC looking like a joke trying to add random fighters to a main event title fight. Felder has no business being in a title fight. They should have paid Pettis more. Trying to save some money and now they might have to scrap a ppv.

How did Giordano not get a penalty for that crosscheck on Lowry? That was brutal. -
Anthony Pettis now stepping up to fight Khabib. That will be an ugly one-sided beating, if it actually happens. Khabib still has to make weight...

Connor McGregor showed up at media day today and threw a chair through the window of a bus carrying Khabib and a few other fighters. This was supposedly b/c of an altercation between Lobov & Khabib yesterday. I'm honestly concerned that McGregor is starting to go crazy. https://www.mmafighting.com/2018/4/5/17203162/conor-mcgregor-crew-allegedly-cause-chaotic-scene-after-ufc-223-media-day

Kyrie Wilson should be in the mix.

I like ditching the "force out" rule. Imo it's a good defensive play to push a guy out of bounds before he can get a foot down.
-
Seems like Montreal must be coming in low too if he's still not signed.
-
A great name and an amazing hit in his youtube video.
-
Good grief man. You only have to go back to the last Liberal gov't to see how this is wrong.
-
Mulroney added over $300B to the national debt. Chretien and Martin did a good job cleaning up his mess and have a better fiscal record than anybody in recent history.
-
Agreed. The far right members in the Conservative party really hurt them.
-
I consider the Liberals more centrist than left, although the current gov't has moved them further left than they were under Chretien/Martin.

Game 71 : Green River @ Red River

I loved Stu, so it's high praise coming from me. Guy played a lot of hard minutes over 12 seasons. I'll take a guy like that on my team anytime. -

I love Chiarot's physical game. He's a more talented Stu. -
Based on Walters' prior comments about having to make other moves if Muamba is signed , that cap space isn't currently unused.

There aren't many...Bossy, Hull, Ovie, maybe Stamkos. Not sure who else. -

He's like a bigger Brett Hull. -
https://www.si.com/vault/1997/04/14/8113107/no-regrets-mario-lemieux-has-decided-to-end-his-brilliant-nhl-career-and-for-himbut-not-for-the-penguinshis-retirement-is-coming-not-a-moment-too-soon "With fewer penalties being called, scoring is down league wide this season, and shutouts are up. The number of power-play goals has dropped 26% since last season, from 1.81 per game to 1.34. "Goaltenders are certainly better than in the past," Lemieux says. "The coaching is better too. Now even bad teams have [defensive] systems. If the refereeing was different, the systems would still work, but not as well. In basketball, teams that don't have talent don't win. Hockey is different. The NHL allows lesser players to get away with things. It's a good time for me to get away, because if the league expands again, the problem will just get worse. There will be more and more unskilled players." And one less magically skilled player. When Lemieux is asked if he would reconsider retirement if the NHL assured him that next season the refs would enforce the rules as written, he shakes his head and smiles ruefully. "They've fooled me once," he says. "They're not going to fool me twice."
