The kids are looking good on the farm. Hopefully Connor uses this chance to show he can do it at the NHL level now.
-
Big chance for him to prove he belongs in the NHL.
-
I don't mind Kypreos. For an ex-player comparison, he's infinitely better than Jeff O'Neill. I like Friedman & McLean, and Millard is ok. My feelings on the rest of them start at indifference and go down from there.
-
Ooooh, I like the looks of this one.
-
It's trouble in either scenario if he gets shelled in his next start.
-
Lol at spelling dummies incorrectly when insulting the intelligence of another person. Sorry, I've interrupted. Carry on.
-
If you're worried about somebody's mental toughness, I don't think benching him for a couple games so he has more time to think about it is the way to go. Regardless of that though, I'd play him again simply b/c he's our starter and these games aren't back to back.

Morrissey had 12:38. Regardless, in a game with roughly a million powerplays, it stands to reason that your ice time will go down if you're not on the pp. I hope you don't mean Fehr, who didn't score 20 goals in the last two seasons combined?

I'd like to fly on a unicorn, but neither of these things will happen. The Jets 4th line won't see those minutes.
-
You'd like to see Connor on the 4th line rather than playing big minutes with the Moose? Agree to disagree.
-
Connor on the Moose is on Connor. He was underwhelming in tc imo.
-
I was there with my kid. Lesnar's match was terrible imo, but nobody seemed to care b/c it was cool just to see him. I've been to the last three to come to Winnipeg, and I thought this was the worst one. You could hear somebody cough on the other side of the arena during the women's match.
-
Great deal! 64 points as a 21 year old and now we've got him locked up through most of his prime.

CFL Toss Up of the Week: Regina at Toronto
sweep the leg replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Riders had three really good weeks in a row, but they weren't very good before it and haven't been very good after it. Makes you think that mini-streak of theirs might have just been a mirage. -
I thought early in the year he put himself in bad situations with his happy feet. I don't really notice that anymore.
-
Nichols, Harris, & Singleton are the front runners imo.
-
We're number 1 in fewest pressures allowed.

Who should I get on my jersey?
sweep the leg replied to Blue in the loops's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I have a rule about not wearing the jersey of anybody who's younger than me. It has to be somebody I cheered for as a kid on a retro jersey. -

You should get .08 as your number. That's ALWAYS hilarious. -
Yes, we can.

Bombers in best Uniform contest
sweep the leg replied to Engelwood's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
This isn't worth arguing about. Our unis are clearly so much better than everybody else's that I can just laugh at any comments to the contrary. Double blue is better than blue & "yellow"?...Ok Bluto *condescending head pat* -
Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
sweep the leg replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The CFL only made the right decision after a huge public outcry and the terrible publicity that came with it. No facts about the hire changed. That's not how it should have played out imo. -
Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)

This whole deal with Manziel seems a little over the top. No way the league puts a non-celebrity player under this much scrutiny when they enter the league. -
Who has the better team: Calgary or Winnipeg?
sweep the leg replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'd take Reilly and Franklin any day over Nichols & Davis. -
I was a big fan of the Matthias, Lowry, Armia line last season. I wouldn't object to that being our third line again.
