Nichols & Steveler are both under contract next season.

The first time somebody gets charged and challenges it, the restriction will be gone. I've read that it's unenforceable.

Two thoughts: 1. That was bad football. Lots of drops and penalties. 2. Poor job by officials protecting players. Hebert should have been tossed and the ref was looking right at Mitchell when he took that headshot and still didn't call it.

Not a big fan of that contract. Hopefully they can salvage his career like they did for Schultz & Oleksiak. If I was in charge, I'd trade Letang now. He's an adventure defensively and gets hurt too much. Pens won a Cup without him last year, and he was terrible in the 2nd round this year. Trade him now while you can still get a good haul for him. I think the Oilers would pay big for him.

Has it been mentioned that Brandin Bryant played tonight instead of Roh? Injury or healthy scratch?

Durant quiting on us could be the best thing that's happened to this franchise in a long time.

I'm starting to reconsider my objection to starting Streveler over Ross.

A Pittsburgh reporter said that the Pens are interested in Jack Johnson, but he's asking for $6M per. WTF? The guy had 11 points in 77 games and played under 20 min/night. I'm interested to see what he actually gets.

And wtf is he doing with the dl? They've got the two best (imo) defensive ends in the league, but he's messing around trying to be clever instead of just unleashing them.

Pretty good summary of the nonsense. Cutting Bond is looking like a disaster. That line would have been just average at best with him on it. Now they're the worst in the league. Starting three Canadian OL seems unlikely. Do they even have a backup if Bladek starts? Lol at your description of their running backs. Messam looks like he's hit his best before date, but they almost have to play him b/c of their Canadian depth issues.

I feel dirty defending Carter, but Spencer wasn't in the end zone yet when he swiped at him. He definitively wasn't going after his knees either.

I don't know about Boateng as a full time starter (yet), but he had a pretty good season for a 22 year old Canadian rookie.

I wouldn't, because I don't want Fogg doing all returns without an American backup for his spot on D.

Calgary Winnipeg Edmonton SK BC Toronto Ottawa Hamilton Montreal I'm torn on Hamilton. They looked good at the end of last year, but I'm not sure I believe in June Jones and Jerry Glanville and as a duo.

The food at Celebrations is average at best, but I've always enjoyed the shows.
