  1. Kohlert is our best Canadian receiver. WIth the exception of the home opener, Watson did virtually nothing last season. He played 11 games and had over 30 yards receiving in three of them. I've stopped hoping he'll become what we thought he could be. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we get any production out of him this year.

  3. They all cheat -- so in that respect, "cheating" isn't really cheating, it's keeping up! That's the sad fact but Lewis was looked on in America as a superstar & a hero. It's really too bad he was never caught. He was never caught but he did confess not too long ago that he was using steroids back then. He actually was caught several times earlier but they swept it under the rug. Watch the 30 for 30, its very good. 30 for 30 was very good. Something like all but one of the runners in that race eventually got busted.
  4. Play Hutchinson in Chicago b/c he's been lights out there in two games already. They'll be splitting games anyways, so go with the hot hand.
  5. I'm not sure that Groulx would drop that far, but I agree that there should still be a good OL available at 11 if we took Waud first.
  6. I'd still take Jokinen over Halischuk or Peluso... Meh. At least Peluso can fight. Jokinen is pretty much done doing anything at an NHL level.
  7. You can come to my house and watch it on pvr. Can I come? I have hot dogs. You're in.
  8. You can come to my house and watch it on pvr.
  9. I still think we would have been better off re-signing Jokinen.
  10. TUP, do you promote CWE Wrestling? It's going to be in my old hometown soon and I was just wondering if it was your show. Might have to go to seee Big Poppa Pump.
  11. Rob Vabstone on H & L right now. Says Hall's on his way to Winnipeg as they speak. Sounds like it's done.
  12. This is THE story of the off season. I nominate you to follow the brewing O'Shea vs Hall fight and keep us updated as things progress.
  13. Benevedes apparently has turned both teams down.
  14. I certainly hope not. I'd have no interest in either one of those guys.
  15. I think it'd be an okay decision. Both are nice guys, but too mellow. I still think keeping Morley around as a 6th or 7th OL would be smart, with all the injuries the past few years on the OL. Morley is Canadian, reliable and versatile. I don't get that argument about January. He was the only guy who would do anything when something would happen to our qb.
  16. Pretty good chance his career is over.
  17. I suppose hypothetically it could be. In reality it almost certainly won't be.
  18. How can we accurately compare Washington & Leggett when they have different jobs? How often did Leggett have to cover a receiver 1 on 1? I like Johnson, but I think it'd almost be a certainty he'd lose his job before Washington if we had to make a change. He lost it last year for awhile.
  19. I wouldnt defend calling Reimer's mom, but the question had merit. It might seem stupid because no player is going to admit to being uncoachable but in the wake of the firing, it was a topic for discussion. When a coach is fired, many players admit to taking fault and feeling awful. I thought Kessel's reaction was telling in that he immediately deflected blame. Ron Wilson was right, when you change coaches 2 or 3 times with the same players, who's fault is it? The GM's.
  20. The reporter who asked that question was Dave Feschuk, the same guy that called Reimer's mom trying to get an injury update on him.
  21. Holy crap that's a lot of money!
  22. My guess is he competes for the job at wil.
  23. Certainly sounded to me like January's days as a Bomber could be coming to an end. I'd like him to at least come to camp, but I think the chances of getting a vet like him to basically tryout w/o a signing bonus are pretty slim.
  24. Well that's certainly interesting... I'm sure it's so he can try for the NFL again next year.
  25. Sucks for us, but good for him. Should be a good st'er down there.
