The thing I hate about statements like the ones you're making, is you make it seem like they WANT to lose. Like they aren't trying as hard as they can to win, and doing everything they can to win. You don't think these guys are desperate to win?? What more can they do than everything possible...??

I think DCs will eventually figure out the new rules and adjust. Find a way to shut down the OCs, differently, and within the rules. It's still really early, and I think we all expected (...or should have...) that it would take awhile for the defenses to catch on...

Part of me worries that Willy is going to end up like Dunigan with some serious long-term problems, but right now, I'm just glad he's able to get out there and work like normal. If he feels good, and (more importantly) he's symptom-free tomorrow, then let 'er buck...

And if Willy is out 3 weeks and O'Stubborn sticks with Brohm do we still relax while going 1-4? Because I personally don't see Brohm winning one game this year either coming in off thebench or starting. What is to be gained by spending your days worrying about all the negative possibilities, rather than hoping for the positive ones?

Bottom line: Things aren't that bad...

I don't know if the stamps were out all night partying but that was not the stamps team that dominated the west last year and is expected to return to the grey cup this year. Not to take anything away from the Als but they didn't beat the real stamps. Wait till next week. Huff will have them back and firing on all cylinders. And I don't see why it can't be the same for us. No travel, week of rest and practice at home, and a chance to correct some things. No reason we can't do a 180 this week...

After watching a bit of the hammy game and most of last night I have to agree with you... but it is only week 2... it literally takes half a season before we get a true grasp on every team in the CFLThe number of hot starts turning to crappy falls we've had recently, I'm more than happy to sit and wait for a team to play .500 ball as it grows together and starts to click around Labour Day. People really gotta chill. This site sucks after a loss....
