...not to derail a pretty good thread so far, but this is actually a thing that has pissed me off in 2 different workplaces. I've been a victim of it, re: holiday time, where people with families get priority because "well, they have kids"....get f***ed....don't punish me because I wasn't stupid enough to knock up the old lady..... Okay, /Rant

Not that it means anything per se, but fwiw, Bauming says the Bombers had a very large contingent on hand today. Not really surprising, I suppose, since it's right here in our back yard, so they may as well be there........but still.....if they figure the kid is CFL bound, I'd be okay with him at #1...

Logan -- Love Lethal Weapon. Full disclosure: I'd probably watch Damon Wayans in anything, and he's outstanding in this show. I was surprised how much I like the new Riggs...and they have great chemistry. I've always been a procedurals guy, and this one has a lot of pop to it. It's like early CSI before it got really stupid. And has a bigger, movie-style budget. It's a good, mid-week fun watch, for sure...

ya the GF has Days taping every day, and Supergirl on Mondays, I believe....oi vey....

ah man, I thought of another sitcom: Last Man On Earth with Will Forte. Love that show. So, for the record, our PVR recording sched looks like this: Monday -- Gotham Tuesday -- SHIELD, This Is Us Wednesday -- SVU, Criminal Minds, Lethal Weapon, Designated Survivor Thursday -- Big Bang Theory Saturday -- SNL Sunday -- Last Man On Earth The gf has some stupid **** of her own she watches, but this is the basis of our PVR slate....

See, I WANNA like it, based on the cast, but I have absolutely no idea what's supposed to be funny about it. I tried watching the first couple eps of season 1, and I just went "...da fuhh...." I got nothin'........like most people, I've enjoyed Levy, O'Hara and Elliot in a lot of things, but this........I just don't understand it at all.

I was thinking about it, and I think BBT is pretty much the only sitcom I watch. I used to watch so many back in the day, but we mostly watch procedurals and dramas in the evening....BBT the only real sitcom on our PVR list...

In fairness, The Office itself was stupid. Single-Cam faux-doc shows, in general, I think are stupid. I have never understood The Office, Modern Family, Arrested Development....I just don't understand.

That's a good call on Argos as an option, on account of Trestman. Hadn't thought of that, but definitely possible. Still, like most, I'd love it to be another colossal Jones f*** up...

This.....I really feel like hipster types just went "yay, a non-generic, not-whites-only single cam....it's so different!!" and that was the only reason they liked it. I do not get her at all....never been funny in anything, ever.

I think the bottom line in this thread, for TB and the Bombers staff who are interested, the atmosphere at Bombers games is exceptional, IMO. Granted, I only get to go to a couple per year, but I've had a blast (win or lose) every time....take that fwiw, from a very very old-school 37 year old...

Keep in mind the Rec-DB 1/1s are heavily slanted in favour of the Rec. You can't just go by the combine results on that and say VDeV is the guy, automatically. Smart money still says we take someone on either side of the line with #1...
