  1. Puss In Boots getting busted with the catnip on "Knights" and his line "It's....uhhhhh....not mine..." made me laugh REALLY hard for an animated feature. Those were great movies...
  2. I didn't realize they were doing a 3rd one...looks good. I really enjoyed the first couple (Minions was a bit of a letdown)....they're great for the kids but there's a LOT of really smart lines in there for the parents, too, which is the key to a good animated feature. Having Trey Parker as a guest voice in this one is a nice touch...
  3. Luckily, the truth (and reality), are likely half way between what Goalie is posting, and what Nichols' agent is trying to sell Walters on. They'll make a deal...
  4. I definitely read that as well. This whole thing just reeks of something the Bombers would have done in the past because it's the cheap and easy way.

  10. http://www.bluebombers.com/2016/12/12/224288/ Interesting tidbit: Asked about Glenn, Walters said: “The point of this discussion is who is the quarterback you want to hang your hat on as your starter, which is Matt Nichols, and then the development of the young guys, which is Dom. Kevin fits somewhere right in the middle. “We all think very highly of Kevin Glenn in this organization, but it is a business and we need to get Matt Nichols sorted out contractually and see where that number is. I’ll talk to Kevin’s agent and tell him this is where we see him fitting in and this is the price range we have… is it a good fit or is it not a good fit. That’s a discussion down the road. “It’s almost a separate entity when you’re looking at your salary cap and you’re looking at your roster. It’s what’s the number got to be for your starting quarterback and then what’s the domino effect for the rest of the roster. It would be really nice to get that piece into place so that you can figure out the rest.”
  11. Some explanation as to why Macciocia told the Als to go f*** themselves: @DidierRDS The Alouettes offered the position of president to Danny Maciocia but they would not have let him pick the new GM. @CFL
  12. and this may be somewhat fresh as it comes from a tweet from last night...
  13. for what it's worth, Steve Morley figures they'll settle on 415....
  14. #Bombers have let it leak that Nichols wants $450,000 per season after being named Winnipeg's most outstanding player - @PentonKirk #CFL
  15. I thought the book on Stanley is that he's a big slow plug?
  16. I don't even know where this idea keeps coming from. He's never once been mentioned in connection to the Als head job...
  17. How are Reilly and Harris even in the same conversation???
  18. http://montrealgazette.com/sports/football/cfl/montreal-alouettes/gm-plan-murky-as-alouettes-consider-kavis-reed-and-danny-maciocia "... Maciocia still remains in the picture of what has become a murky Als’ scenario. The organization wants to give him a lofty title and position — president of football operations. That would make him the boss of Reed and Chapdelaine, who’s expected to return. But whether this three-headed monster could coexist and work is questionable. Maciocia and Reed have never worked together. Maciocia and Chapdelaine spent one season together at Edmonton, as head coach and offensive coordinator, respectively, but things ended badly. Chapdelaine, on the other hand, might have been somewhat responsible for promoting the idea of Reed to ownership, since those two have a good relationship. But Chapdelaine denied that occurred..." Herb Zurkowsky ‏@HerbZurkowsky1 2h2 hours ago Danny Maciocia has decided to remain head coach at Université de Montreal. Spurns #Als in the process. Herb Zurkowsky ‏@HerbZurkowsky1 38m38 minutes ago Carabins' head coach Danny Maciocia turns down offer to be Alouettes' president of football operations Herb Zurkowsky ‏@HerbZurkowsky1 35m35 minutes ago The #Als will deny this in the days ahead, but the decision of @dmaccoach leaves them with egg on their face - again. Herb Zurkowsky ‏@HerbZurkowsky1 32m32 minutes ago Until the #Als can get their act together, I'm afraid more and more executives won't want to work for them. Players, too. Arash Madani ‏@ArashMadani 29m29 minutes ago Kavis Reed has never been a #CFL general manager. Jacques Chapdelaine is a slam dunk head coach b/c of a 4-2 record? Good luck, Alouettes.
  19. Seems to be Trevor Harris's MO so far in his career...
