Jason Kenney with the second lowest approval rating right now.........that's the guy you want to hitch your wagon to, to prove your intelligence? BTW, Pallister in dead last among provinces with "significant populations".....

he'd been SO GOOD until now, too.... following the orders of doctors and scientists. And then he goes and shows his true colours. Man was I pissed off when I read that...
  6. Only about 8 (according to Tait) players that are in the city full time. You won't see anyone coming in from out of province, and certainly not from out of country...
  7. ahhhhhh you're one of THOSE types....... I get you. My cousin is part of a local sketch comedy troupe and they're AWESOME but I just do not understand their love of KITH. It's just too weird for me...
  8. also, as a side note, Shuster's daughter, Rosie, would go on to be a founding writer of SNL (and one-time wife of Lorne Michaels), so she had the chops as well...
  9. I don't advocate for the ban hammer often, but c'mon.......this guy just made the list.
  10. Possibly the funniest comedy team we ever produced. Absolutely LOVED those guys. My grandfather and I bonded over our love of those guys. I mean, they were regulars on Sullivan, for goodness sake. Those guys were OUTSTANDING......oh, and Dave Broadfoot, too.
  11. Canada produces a lotta funny stuff!!

I would absolutely advocate for bringing the world to a halt (as we've done) every time there's a disease that spreads like this one.... all preventable deaths MUST be prevented.
  13. I miss that era of both Air Farce and 22 Mins.... man that was good stuff.

I think (tho I'm not 100% versed in this) that the difference is, Italy and Spain took it very seriously, but caught it too late and by that point, it was uncontainable. Brazil and the States just said "this is nothing...let 'er buck!" I know with Italy, for example, they didn't realize it was in the country until someone had died from it, and by that point, it's just way too late. They had government enforced lockdowns with police and army patroling the streets 24/7 to keep people in their homes. Bodies of all ages piling up in the morgues and makeshift morgues....

You look at Brazil and you look at the States, and then STILL think our government OVER reacted?

I was just thinking this morning that it was really nice the crazy people hadn't been posting in here for awhile...... spoke too soon.

...at least there will BE generations to pay for it....... whatever it takes to prevent unnecessary deaths.
  18. Am I the only one who's literally never heard of this guy before? I didn't even know we had a CFL Head Of Football Operations...

Fwiw, AB numbers coming down. Averaging around 25/day the past week. Something like 45 in hospital and 5 in ICU. It's really only Quebec and Ontario ******* up this country right now. I remain hopeful that I can come back to MB to visit fam in Sept...
  20. Today should have been our first game of the year. First pre season game, at home, vs Edm.... Siiiiiiiigh.
  21. McGuire might be the best pure passer we've had in ages. The question is whether he can develop the thinking part of the game. Processing things quickly and making quick decisions...
