gonna help you out a bit

that's the only conclusion I can come to....
-
why exactly do people think Toronto is going to be so good? I don't understand that at all....
-
I don't know enough about the Eastern teams because I hardly watch them, but Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver all good teams that could be dangerous this year. **** everything to do with the fLames....
-
Josh Johnson was on Insta recently commenting on a Bombers signing post that he's still waiting for a phone call. Came off a bit like complaining/whining, but who knows with social media posting... hopefully his deal gets done at some point.
-
And what's Rose's story? He's still with an NFL team?
-
Sadly, not our signing, but related.... Really sad to see this. Rigmaiden strikes....

They also need to make absolutely sure that someone like Donald Trump can't happen ever again. Put laws and whatever else in place so that someone like that can't ever be elected.

there's a lot of buzz about a federal election this year. With his (mostly) good handling of the pandemic, plus the general disgust toward conservative politics (fueled by what we've seen in the States), Trudeau is going to absolutely slaughter O'Toole....
-
I'd settle for the Bombers playing any games at IGF this year...ha ha. Start with that, and we'll go from there... I'm mildly more optimistic today than I was yesterday with Roussin saying that the plan is for anyone who wants the vaccine to be able to get it by September. This a day after Atwal said they don't think they can get more than 70% of the population inoculated within the calendar year...

Most underrated player in the league........
-
I remember listening to some Bombers content...don't remember if it was on CJOB or if it was the Bombers Podcast feat Irving, but either way..... Bob said "they HAVE to come back in 2021...there's no other choice....because if they have to shut down for two years in a row, they won't make it.... it'll be done". Maybe I'm just feeling the January Winter Blues + COVID + Terrorism...... but man, I just don't see how they'll possibly run this year unless they figure out a way to play without fans in the stands. And Ambrosie wouldn't even entertain the notion in November. There was no other way, without fans in the stands.
-
and I think the TRULY unfortunate thing is.......if we lose a second season, we might lose the league entirely. I don't think they can survive a second lost season.
-
Sadly, I really don't believe the season is going to happen. With Manitoba Health saying today that only 70% of MB will be inoculated by the end of the year, there's just no chance fans are allowed in stadiums, and with no fans, there is no season. They still have absolutely no plan for how to operate with no fans in attendance. Just incredibly depressing.

Alberta had a bunch of those yesterday...to nobody's surprise. There are MANY Trump supporters out here...especially in rural AB.

Pallister wanting to open the economy (move from Red to Orange) by the end of January. If things keep going up, as we suspect based on Christmas gatherings, I just don't see how he can do that in good conscience.

I know of exactly 1 29 year old career 3rd stringer-turned-starter, Mr Fajardo, and you sir, are no Khari Jones.......
-
that CFL News Twitter feed is running a bunch of quotes from Fajardo talking about how he's "not that interested in the NFL".... "The money is there, sure, but........" blah blah.... LIKE HE WOULD HAVE A LEGITIMATE CHANCE! It is staggering to me that a career 3rd string CFLer is all of a sudden being talked about as the second coming of Ricky Ray.....staggering!

Demski official... Good to have him back.

there's an argument to be made that Big Stan is the best OL in CFL history. Also, while a huge Pat Neufeld fan, it's tough for me to say he's better overall than Hardrick, because Hardrick is the best RT in the league. RT is a lot tougher to play than RG. Neufeld is extremely versatile and can play multiple positions, but I don't believe he plays RT better than Hardrick, so my vote goes to Yoshi. I personally think SB/JH are the best tandem tackles in the league and among the best of all time. And that's saying something, because we previously had the consensus best tackle tandem of all time, in Walby/Gorell...
