Yeah, I'm thinking virtually all adults will be vaccinated by mid-summer at the latest, leaving only 18 and under for late summer..... we'll be looking much better, in terms of overall case numbers and hospitalizations. All of this goes along with the fact that summer is generally a low period for influenzas in general...

Interesting stuff... Someone told me that vaccines aren't normally even close to this efficacy. I don't know enough to know, but apparently the regular seasonal flu vaccine is much much lower percent?

Is that not the J&J one? Or is it both...?

I think if I had kids, I might appreciate that type of show a little more. I just have absolutely no interest in that kind of "family comedy". It seems like Full House for a new generation, which is all fine and dandy if you're into that sort of thing...

Young Rock wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but it was alright. Most of the fun, for me, was the portrayal of actual old time wrestlers. They did a fairly good job with casting (the Andre didn't really look like Andre, I didn't think...but when you need a guy that big, your options are limited...). As much as I love Kenan Thomson and Chris Redd, that show is definitely not for me...good for them for getting a full time scripted show, tho....

If the league can show that they're going to pay the player salaries (especially US players) on their own, via TV revenue or whatever, then I can't see why the government wouldn't be able to back them to cover operating costs for individual teams. I think the issue is that what other people do impacts me. So I can do everything right and obey all the rules, but other people are assholes and disobey and ruin it for everyone else.

Absolutely petrified of the increase we're about to see because of the variants and way-too-soon re-opening. I figure within the next month we'll see a reversal of the decreases and new cases will starry to outpace the recoveries again...
