It's hard to pick the 3 stars because I feel Edm was equally as bad as Wpg was okay. Bombers weren't great in 2/3 phases and were okay/good enough 1/3. 1. Defense as a whole, Bighill in particular. 2. OL, especially during garbage time. We've heard it said again and again that there is nothing more demoralizing to a team than knowing a team is going to run on you every play and still not being able to do a damn thing about it. Harris was okay but it was garbage time and the OL did the work. 3. Coaches. MOS especially. This team doesn't take a night off. HH. Mike Benson. I was mad at myself for not knowing who the hell 40 was. Unsung hero.

Anyone who says the Swaggerville team was their favourite, wasn't around for the 12 In A Row 2001. Now THAT was a lot of fun, and more similar to an Osh team. Papa Dave didn't let anyone get too fat and sassy. Maybe because I was 21, but hooooeeeeeeee did we have a lot of fun watching games that year...

That logo.......designed by a respected indigenous graphic designer........is spectacular. Also of note, the orange jerseys that the team is wearing during warm-ups will be auctioned off after the game for charities that get indigenous youth into sports. I'm hoping to bid on one myself....great jersey, and even better cause. I think it would be in Edmonton....a lot more confidence with a home game. But honesty, you could say every game from here on out is a trap game...

I truly felt good for Knuckles after GC107, after having to polish so many turds for nearly 30 years.... was so nice to see him get a ring from the team. Man, he earned it...

if there was a stadium capable of hosting it, it might be interesting to try some games out there, just to see if it'd work. Like Mississauga or something.....just test it out with a game here and there, and see what the response is like.

Goaltending is by far Canada's biggest problem....and if Carey Price is out long-term, then we're really screwed. Who the hell does Canada have for goaltenders? Chris Driedger? Yikes.
