I don't know if you can feel vindicated when nothing has actually happened yet. If this actually goes the way some of us fear, THEN you can feel vindicated.

Yaaaaaaaa.... That's what it was...... I don't know that that's true at all. The Rock is the highest paid actor and overall one of the biggest stars on the planet right now. WAY bigger than Vince ever was on a mainstream level. I mean, the Rock has conquered Hollywood completely. And I'm not altogether certain that Vince has more money either... I'd like to see the books on that.

I'm really partial to the Canadian Content, as well....I know some people don't really give a ****, but it's important to me to have Canadian players in this game and the whole juggling of the ratio each week.

I had a similar thought this morning. I'd rather the league die an honourable death than see it become something awful like Minor League NFL.....

Naylor thinks they could possibly scrap the 2021 season and start building toward whatever this new merged entity would look like in 2022..... siiiiigh. We joked that the Bombers winning a GC would be the end of the world...... but it was just a joke. I thought.

Just spitballing randomness....... but I'd love to see (not saying feasible, just saying I'd love to see) some teams pull out of any merger and start their own independent league that is obviously much smaller, but maintains the CFL as we know it. Maybe the CFL goes back to the VERY beginning....... and restarts from scratch. I'd be interested in that...

It's truly insane that the Riders get ranked that high by anyone outside of the province. That is a bad football team with a bad QB who was a mirage in 2019....the team wasn't good then, and has become much worse since...

This is just a fabulous post that I quoted so people would read it again. I don't believe in the federal NDP as a viable alternative, regardless of their leader, and think they're too far left for this country. Other than that, your post is perfect.
