Noeller

You are wildly in the wrong forum and thread...yikes. Your first question is weather dependent. Your second question (Bird's Hill) is also weather dependent. And your third question, yes there is AirBnB or VRBO for cottages in the East Beaches. Tons for rent.

the issue isn't the hits, it's the guys skating with their heads down that's the problem. I will forever stand by that.

the report on Rosery was that he had poor hands and was "not a polished pass catcher"........but then the Bombers-released write up said he "has been compared to Nic Demski"...... so I'm not sure which one to believe, exactly.

Unfortunately Calgary to Winnipeg isn't a new route...ha ha. Need a couple of those....

I was thinking a VERY poor man's Woogie....

great posts in here and all are appreciated. Just wanted to reiterate that I think "John Hodge" is actually a parody account "pen name" for Mike in the ultimate bit of CFL satire......

so here's the thing about the AB election. With all the insane things Smith does and says (and they're completely deranged...) she's still in the lead in the polls. I love Rachel Notley, but what does this say about her favourability with voters that she's "losing" to someone as crazy as Smith??? I wonder if she was a middle aged white dude, if she'd be trailing this race...

We needed depth on teams cover units so this is definitely good. Looking forward to Walters presser.

Love that we got Kornelson. The profile Tait wrote makes him seem like the ultimate Mafia guy. Just a super nice kid who wants to do things the right way. It nothing else he's gonna fit in really well.

This guy reeks of a ST demon...

Fwiw....

Unless they're just taking potential ST talent and not even caring about D/O starters....

26 years old... 7 years of post secondary.... Hmmm.

That would be pretty funny....

I don't know that Barker is really a guy they need on this broadcast.... He's 100 years old and I don't know that his experience is all that valuable.

Seems like the Riders reached at 3... You love to see it.

really feel like our secondary is underrated by a lot around the league. Yeah, our offense is going to be awesome, but that secondary has the potential to be something special. Also really interested to see if JJ's new off-season regime is going to result in more games played this year. If he and WJ5 can play most, if not all, games this year, that's going to be massive.

s'posin' we might need a 2023 Training Camp/Pre-Season thread soon.....

thanks to @DTonOB for putting in the work on this:

Curious why the CFL is getting rid of that number....

Even if Mike wants to play the Debbie Downer card (you really should leave that up to the pros, bro...) I'm choosing to be excited about the draft tonight. If nothing else, it means we're that much closer to camp starting and it gives us something legitimate to talk about tonight, and for the next week. Next Weds is Rookie Camp and next Sunday is Main Camp. We're almost there!!

a friend of mine in HS had a copy of a generic Greatest Hits album of Lightfoot's, and I remember it was Rainy Day People that first hooked me. As I got older, and into broadcasting and then music programming, I really understood the genius of his works. Cochrane once described Lightfoot as "akin to one of the Group Of 7 painters..." and that's a really great way to describe his cultural impact. Lightfoot, Tyson, Connors....... few wrote about various aspects of Canada better.
