The fact that the Bombers signed Picard should tell you all you need to know. They obviously don't think Goosen can do the job yet (ever??) or they wouldn't have spent the money on a vet.And since we have no first round pick next spring we'll be spending even more money on OL free agents in the future.

People keep complaining about Picard & want to see Goosen. Even with all the injuries on the OL he doesn't get playing time. Sukh Chung has played every down this year & he's a rookie. Goosen has been here nearly 2 seasons now & can't start. Nah, keep him on the bench as he's not ready.

Our coaching staff... from the HC on down. Just terrible. How does Tracy keep his job week after week. We are by far the worse ST unit in the CFL.

Losing looks second best on Esks coach Chris Jones. Rather than admit he made a mistake he points the finger at kicker Grant Shaw & says he might've missed. Jones just can't own up to it & admit he made a bonehead move. Losing still looks the best on Chamblin, though.

Was that the bar on Portage Avenue beside the old Freep building? if it was, I just remember the place was full of mirrors & glass.

LOL! That just about sums it up. My friend loved that place but I didn't. We'd always end up there whenever we went out. There were bars with better clientele in Winnipeg at the time but if you wanted strange then that was the place to go. It was located off of Main Street close to City Hall in the old (I think) Bank of Montreal building. The bar was huge. It has 2 levels.I got into 2 skirmishes there. Looking back, I'm lucky things weren't worse. I was in my 20's & pretty stupid.

There's always the taxis, limos & hotel bus drivers to run you over as you walk the strip if the drinks don't.

Broken thumb is pretty serious for an OL as they need to use their hands when blocking on every play.

This makes no sense. What difference does it make where your QB's came from? I care more about how they play. McManus also did nothing as a Blue Bomber and had a hall of fame career as a "castoff" playing for other teams. Kind of kills your whole idea, doesn't it? Look at AC in Hamilton.
